Area 51 Piercing

Steven and the girls were amazing!! We walked in and they welcomed my daughter and I right away.. Steven remembered my daughter since her nose piercing last year..the interaction they all had with my daughter and I was amazing, we felt at home there. I would highly recommend anyone going there anytime. Thank you again!

My first experience here was awesome! The person who pierced me was friendly, kind and did an awesome job on my septum. My second experience not so much. The second person who changed my jewelry for me was not very friendly, honestly came across pretty rude, and actually put the wrong size jewelry in my ears so it does not stay in. It’s a bummer when you pay for jewelry and cannot use it because it’s the wrong size. Otherwise the counter staff have consistently been helpful and friendly and I like the space and vibes. However I probably will not go back because of the second experience I had, unfortunately.

I had never been into this piercing studio up until yesterday on a recommendation from a friend. I loved the vibe inside as well as all of the original jewelry made by employees. Taylor, who helped me pick out jewelry, was so sweet and genuinely interested in helping me. Steven did the piercing, and I really appreciated his straightforward approach to the piercing placement process/after care. Definitely the best experience I've had at a piercing studio in the Eugene area.

workers are always super nice and helpful. steven has been helpful for months with my piercings and was great again today! very positive work environment and comfortable place. i always feel very welcome when i go there. love this place!

Go see Steven for all your piercing needs and prepare to be amazed by his witty charm while he penetrates you with his needle. Also, he won’t get mad if you accidentally bite him. He’ll just ask you to stop in an exceedingly polite tone of voice. 10/10.

Steven made sure both my piercings were lined up perfectly so they weren’t uneven. I reckoned this place for piercings. Bug helped me pick out my jewelry very sweet and straight forward:) !

We brought our daughter in for a nose piercing for her 17th birthday. Both my wife and I have been pierced many times - a long, long, long time ago, before piercing shops existed. So, I was not completely sure what to expect. However, from the online booking, reminder text, initial check in and even through the procedure Area 51 was top notch. Jared, her piercer (and owner), allayed our fears by walking us through the impeccably hygienic facility and even gave us a tour of the sterilization equipment. More importantly, he made our daughter feel at ease and was truly professional and skilled. She walked away with a well placed piercing, minimal discomfort, and the knowledge to take care of it properly! Thank you Area 51.

Bug helped me at the counter, she was super sweet and helpful with choosing jewelry. Steven pierced me, and he calmed me down so much! He kept reminding me to take deep breaths. I recommend this place for body piercings and jewelry.

I'm leaving this review on behalf of my friend. As someone who used to be a piercer myself I was really disappointed when I saw her piercing and heard about her experience. Her lip piercing is so angled the edge of the inner disk is causing scar tissue to grow over it. When she moves her mouth you can see it pointing straight up vs her other that faces straight and forward. She also said the piercer pierced it twice... pierced it twice just to have it be crooked? And still charge her full price ? Terrible. At least take it out and refund her so she can get it done better somewhere else.

Went in today to get a new septum ring, Jared gave me a great deal. Very easy and fun to work with! The staff there is amazing and extremely helpful!
