I had an amazing experience with this place. Dan was my artist, and he was kind and informative. He worked with me to get the perfect tattoo for my daughter on my arm. Not only did he work well with me for the initial tattoo, but after the death if my mother he was amazing at rescheduling for me several times. I went and got another tattoo fto commemorate my mother, and he nailed it out perfectly as well. Professional, as well courteous and kind. I will be back for more tattoos, as they all do amazing work.

My tattoo experience with Risa was awesome! She’s obviously really talented, but also super personable to talk to and be around. I enjoyed my time being tattooed by her and I’m so happy with how it turned out :) I would definitely recommend her and her shop.

The staff at Aardvark are very friendly and courteous. Prices for the work are fair. The artist tattooers are very skilled, very clean and are greatly skilled artisticly in their craft.
I would highly recommend Paul or Risa to anyone looking for a high quality clean looking tattoo. Bill at the front counter is very friendly and knowledgeable. He is also excellent in piercings.

The manager Bill was amazingly knowledgeable about who would do the best for me given my idea. And he was exactly right with Tanya. She had an ideal drawing made up for my memorial tattoo for my dad. She & I have lots in common-- she recently moved from SoCal & I am in the PNW to see if I can fulfill my dream of moving here, so our conversation flowed. Her work is perfect. Tattoos sting a bit but Tanya managed to hit the right pace with conversation & tattooing & was careful to keep in mind she could achieve her goal of making me relaxed & the process as as pain-free as possible.
And the price was very reasonable. If you are thinking of getting a tat go into this very clean,
very friendly & comfortable shop , & check out her book.

My experience working on this piece with Risa over the last year was absolutely the best. Risa just has this way of taking a client's idea and turning it into a piece of art, far exceeding the original expectation. She listened to me, asked just the right questions, explained what needed explaining, focused on the details, and got to know me as a person. Honestly my appointments at Aardvark and chats with Risa got me through the darkest parts of 2020. I don't know if I would have made it otherwise. The rest of the staff were on point as well! I have already booked my mom for a small piece she's been wanting too.

Loved the new tattoo I got from here yesterday! I came in with a friend a week or two ago and saw how Dan did an amazing job on her tattoo and wanted one from him myself. I had a family friend draw up a picture of my design and Dan tweaked it to make it look even better. Music choice for the appointment was great, the detail on the finished product was awesome and all around a great experience. Highly recommend Dan at this shop for your next tattoo.

I was excited to find some great jewelry here, but unfortunately, they were the wrong size. One set of tunnel plugs was labeled 5/8, but was really 9/16, which was too small.
The smaller tunnels that I also purchased was marked as 6g, but was actually 4g.
While their prices are good, it's not so good when you receive not just one, but two wrong sizes.
My partner called and left a message, but didn't receive a return call to address the situation.
If you buy body jewelry here, I suggest you verify that the size shown is the actual size.

6/29/21
I had moved out of state and was back in town to visit and get some personal stuff done.
I went into the shop with the unused jewelry.
I was greeted pleasantly by someone working the front.
They were not able to fix the issue for me, but quickly got the manager, Bill.
Bill came out immediately, and I explained the situation.
While he wasn't able to accept the jewelry back (understandable), he said he would work with me.
Work with me he did.
Initially his demeanor was a bit gruff, but this changed to a more friendly one.
Bill made it right with a great pair of 0 gauge captive bead stainless steel rings, something I have been wanting for my 19mm lower lobes for the look and weight.
Not only that, but he found the black tunnels I had wanted in the correct size of 6g for my cartilage piercings.
This time he made sure to measure the sizes.
Bill absolutely made a poor situation into a fabulous one.
I've changed my initial 3 star ⭐⭐⭐ rating to a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ thanks to Bill.
I'm not a beginner at body modification. I have several tattoos and piercings.
Most all of the artists that I have worked with have been great. We have a good time with whatever service I get. In all my decades of experience, there have only been 2 times that I have ran into issues.
*Pro tips for anyone considering services at ANY tattoo/piercing shop:
Leave your inner Karen or Kyle behind.
Don't go in with an attitude.
Be a pleasant client.
Listen to your artist.
RESPECTFULLY address any concerns.

My sister wanted us to get matching tattoos with my mom. She had been tattooed here previously and I liked the half sleeve she had gotten done so we sent her artist our idea of a flower with daughter/mother as the stem. Tattoo shop is clean, organized and professional. Relaxed atmosphere. My mom went first and got hers on her wrist. Immediately she started groaning in pain and the artist never stopped to ask if maybe she was going to deep or if she wanted her stop. I went in and asked her to stop and checked in with my mom to see what the problem was and she said she didn't remember it hurting that bad. She has 2 other tattoos. Artist never said anything and my mom finished with the tattoo. I went next and got my flower on my tricep. This lady was digging in my arm like I had spit on her mom and ran over her cat. I've been tattooed on my chest, ankle, spine, wrist and foot and have never had someone do it that hard. I finished for the sake of finishing and knew I wouldn't be back after that. It took 3 months to heal and I developed sores that scarred over and now my "h" looks like a "d" and I have multiple scars in my tattoo. This was my experience with the one artist and no way reflects the establishment as a whole. I will personally stick with artists that I know from now on.

Absolutely amazing...
I had an earring buried into my helix piercing and Bill managed to get it out clean up my ear and got me sorted with another earring... Explained how to look after it, gave me sea salt to cleanse it...
