Great tattoo shop!! The staff at Esoteric Tattoo is super friendly and knowledgeable, making it a really comfortable environment to get a tattoo in! The artists are extremely skilled and are able to replicate pictures exactly, as well as create one of a kind works of art based off one on one conversations.I have 30+ hours of amazing work from Esoteric Tattoo and I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a high quality professional tattoo!

Great customer service, phenomenal artists and peircing artist. I've gotten several tattoos from here and they always go way above and beyond. I've had some very bad experiences with peircings and tattoos and this shop has renewed my enthusiasm. Great cover ups, sand a willingness to go the extra mile. There's no easy way to say that tattoo artist did a bad job. It's difficult for their ego and it's difficult for me, as the customer, to admit.
Coleman is the artist in question.
I had asked for a kind of cutsie tattoo, similar to one of his previous tats. We consulted via email. He has several cute tattoos in his bio.
When I showed up, the tat he'd drawn up looked not at all cute. It was very much not what I had described. I also objected to the overall shape of the tattoo, as it did not fit well with my other tats and would leave a blank space.
Instead of refactoring or redrawing the tattoo, Coleman brushed aside my objections. He seemed dead set on doing it his way and only his way. He even told me that instead of altering the tattoo to fit the space, I should worry about filling the dead space afterwards. It caught me off guard and I agreed to go ahead with the tattoo.
I should not have done so. Coleman, if you are reading this - please listen to your customers. I've had a dozen different artists work on me, none have been so pushy and defensive about their art, or so unwilling to listen to their clients' needs. Instead of a cutsie kitty cat tattoo, I've got a weird cyborg cat with a nose like a loaf of bread.

Now, as for the rest of the shop - great decor and friendly staff, for the most part. Seemed clean. I like that they have a separate little photo booth area with good lighting and a black backdrop. Really, this would have been a great experience, if not for the actual tattoo!

I had Ryan ink me up. Absolute pro, very interesting conversation, the music playing on the radio was awesome, and all staff were incredibly friendly! My tattoo is perfect, too! Ryan helped put my vision into a presentable sleeve piece that I am proud to wear! Excellent establishment!!!
