Marvin did a phenomenal job with my Filipino tribal tattoo! Not only is he a cool guy, but he takes great care and time with his tattoos. Even if you aren’t sure how exactly you want the tattoo to look, Marvin is so skilled and will come up with ideas on the spot. A great experience for my 2nd tattoo and definitely would recommend to anyone looking for tribal tattoos.

He ended up spending an extra 2 hours working with me to give me the exact piece and style I was hoping for, and still honoured his original quote. This is not someone who is looking to get rich and get through as many clients as he can; this is a man who takes the utmost pride in his work, and I truly feel he is far more concerned about giving you a tattoo that you will love for the rest of your life than he is about the money he will earn.
He explained to me Mariposa means butterfly, and he chose this as his shop name / symbol because it represents a metamorphosis into something new, fresh and beautiful. I could not think of a more appropriate name, as you will come out of your experience with him feeling transformed by his artwork. I travelled from BC, Canada to get a tattoo from him strictly because of the photos he posts of his work, and when I get my next tattoo it will be from Marvin again, without a second thought.

Came here with my girlfriend and we enjoyed our experience here. I got my first two tattoos here and although it did sting, I got use to it. Marvin is a cool guy to talk to and I enjoyed the conversations we all had while we were here. Definitely recommend it.

First and foremost, no one is going to love your tattoo besides yourself. With that said, this place is one of the best tattoo shop in town. It is the place to be to get your tattoo done. The owner Mr. Marvin Rivera was very knowledgeable with all kinds of styles. Just tell him what you want to get done and he will definitely come out with an outstanding designs. Although he needs a bigger place but other than that it is very clean and organized his tattoo shop. Keep up the good work sir Marvin!
