Amazing parlor! Super clean, amazing prices for the work and friendly environment. The artists have an incredible range of styles to offer. They were incredibly accomodating and got us in for a next day tattoo appointment for our anniversary. The bees are SO CUTE!!!

Cozy was an absolute gem and did an amazing job ❤️ They're one of the gentlest artists I've ever met. Everyone in the shop held great conversation and were really helpful with our questions and concerns. I'll definitely be coming back for more work from these guys in the future!

I'll have to post a few more pics when they heal a little more (and a pic of my fiance's finished piece), but they already look practically healed the next day :0

I’ve been in multiple times now to either ask for design assistance or get tattooed, and every experience I’ve had has been absolutely amazing. Change seems like he has actually nailed down the perfect combination of a professional yet fun tattoo shop. I’ve been to “cheaper” places in the past, but it’s true what they say, you get what you pay for and everyone at Powell is very talented!
This is a super safe environment for marginalized folx and for me that is the most important factor in whether or not I support a business. Time and time again the employees here have proven to be genuine and have everyone’s best interest in mind and I am so glad I stumbled across this shop!

Nathan was great! I really like my tattoo! The entire shop seemed very light-hearted and fun. I definitely recommend their shop if you are looking to get a tattoo.

Very amazing shop, with equally amazing people. Had a great experience being tattooed by change it healed wonderfully. A few years later and the tattoo still holds up and starts wonderfully funny conversation.

I don't usually leave reviews but Alain's work is SO good that I had to share. Super nice guy and he clearly takes pride in his work. I brought him an outline of what I wanted and he went and redrew it and I loved his version. He also looked at the needle with a magnifying glass to check the quality before using it on me and that's something I've never seen an artist do before. His lines are so clean and perfect and I will absolutely be coming back to him for future pieces. The shop is super clean and everyone was really friendly. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Change took the time to hand draw a design on me. Which was super nice and made the tattoo fit perfectly on me, also he was willing to blastover a previously existing tattoo that was still super dark. It’s one of my favorite tattoos.

I am absolutely in love with this shop! I’ve come here a couple of times now and left super happy each time! The people who work here are so incredibly nice and thoughtful about the work being put on your body. This is definitely a shop I’m gonna be coming back to in the future. ❤️

I’ve been getting lots of black out work done as of late & I absolutely love how it looks.
The color is consistent & I am excited to continue this project along with other tattoos in the future.

I had an 18 hour layover in Portland and visited the shop on the off chance I could get a tattoo with an artist whose work I had admired from social media... no appointment. That artist was not working, but they let me have a look at his flash in case another tattooer might be able to help me.

When they called the original artist to see if they were ok with someone else doing their design, I was told to come back in an hour, and the original artist came in on their day off for me. I did not expect this, and would not expect it in the future, but it was very much appreciated. The tattoo I had chosen was very small and priced at the shop minimum; it would have been very easy for them to tell me "no."
I was so excited that I was getting my first tattoo from someone whose work I admired, I asked if I could get another larger tattoo at the same time.

They graciously guided me through my first tattoos, and set a great precedent for what to expect from a good experience. I'm choosing not to name the artist only because I appreciate what they did for me, and it's not my place to set the expectation that they would give up their personal time in this manner in the future. The tattoos are holding up great!

An extremely clean and professional tattoo shop! Change made me feel comfortable and was kind/ very considerate throughout the entire session. His work is sqeaky clean and my tattoo looks wonderful 2 years healed. Highly recommend! Much trust!
