This is the oldest tattoo shop in Portland, and I believe all of Oregon. They do walk ins and are open till midnight.
I got in and out in about 3 hours and only came in with a concept. They drew it up and were very accommodating.
One of my buddies has gotten a bunch of tattoos here so I had to try it out and I gotta say it was a great experience.
Skot tattooed my ribs and he was gentle. It hurt like it of course does but it was very worth it. Love the new tat.

Skot is literally the only person I would ever let tattoo me. He listens, he's friendly, and let's be honest he isn't a creeper. Solid dude, solid work, and very reasonable pricing. You are 100% getting what you pay for.
They just moved shops too!! The new shop is super dope, well lit, not upstairs and way better on parking.
Go see Skot!!! Some things in life won't disappoint you. He wont!!!

Got my tattoo about a week ago by Adam. Was a spur of the moment decision. However he came up with great ideas and advised not to go too low on the sides of the fingers due to the tattoo not being as sharp longterm. Was great advice and he even free handed the drawing on of the letter on me. Now I know it'll be a one of a kind tattoo.

Do they answer their phones? No. Is there a tapestry covering super obvious ceiling water damage? Yes. Are the vibes welcoming? No. Can you count on friendly & communicative artists? No. Do they take appointments? No. Can you count on them to be open when they say they're open? No. Are their prices low? No. Will your car's windows get smashed if you park in their neighborhood? Yes, probably.
Yet I have three tattoos from here, I love them all, and I'll definitely get more. I don't know man, you just have to try it.

I went to Sea Tramp on my Birthday to get a tattoo of a wolf's head on my forearm.I spoke to Mikael who took the time work with me about the style and the color of the idea I had.Im glad he did because the tattoo came out way better then I had anticipated.The work was beautiful and the hair lines all came to a fine point.The color came out beautiful.
