Very professional/clean. Was just in for my 2nd visit to add flowers to a portrait of my dog on my arm. The work is top of the line and John is easy to work with and Eryn is hilarious. Two very talented artists. I highly recommend these guys! I was in the market for a new artist and it looks like I found my guy. Can't wait to go back to add-on. I will recommend this shop to my friends and family in the future! Great atmosphere, great ppl!

This place was recommended to me by a close friend.
I've had 4 fairly large pieces and 1 small piece done by John (the owner) over the course of about a year. 3 in black and 2 in color.
With that said; here are some insights that may be helpful:
1) You can see by the examples I've attached, he takes pride in his craft. Great detail work/realism and a good knack for placing tattoos in the proper place.
2) Pricing was always fair. You get what you pay for - quality work done with quality ink in a sanitary environment.
3) John has always kept to his schedule and was always ready to start tattooing upon my arrival to his shop. Sessions for large pieces go from anywhere between 3-4 hours.
4) his shop is clean and his tattoo area is organized. He always sanitizes the area you are getting tattooed before, during, and after the tattoo.
5) John has a great personality - we got a long great from the get go. He's super easy to talk to.
6) His shop is consistently booked so be patient getting a time slot booked. That was the first thing that shocked me - how far out he is usually booked; sometimes months. It's worth the wait though!
In conclusion, I definitely recommend going here if you're looking for a tattoo artist in the Butler area.

Loved Eryn she is basically a badass and super talented. I was there a couple hours today for my tattoo and felt like i was talking with an old friend
Tattoo is amazing and i love it!! She was very informative about everything that she was doing she also took my idea and made it even better. She was super thorough about aftercare as well.
Overall a great experience and i will most def be back to mark my body up very soon!!

I love AfterHours!! It's the only place I will go. Both artists do a phenomenal job. I have brought groups of work friends to get tattoos with me and now we go back annually because everyone is always astounded with the amazing art they produce. John is down to earth and friendly and while I haven't had Erin personally, I know she does amazing watercolor tattoos. They are always willing to work with you on design ideas and will give honest opinions on questions you might have.

John is amazing! The shops is always very clean and it’s just a fun place to be. Him and Eryn both do amazing work!
