Recommended with all of my heart!
It would be hard to overstate just what a wonderful experience I had with the Lion's Den. I was nervous about getting my first tattoo, especially as a Type 1 diabetic with lots of questions, but Big Mike put me at ease from the start. He was professional, patient, and kind, and when the big day came, I had the most delightful experience you could hope for.
He and his team are warmhearted and wonderful, and Mike's work is second to none. I researched the tattoo artists in our area thoroughly, and I'm grateful I went with Big Mike. He did a delicate, personally meaningful piece for me, and every time I look at it, it fills me with joy. His line work is exceptional, and I feel like I have a true work of art on my ankle.
And, Mike is meticulous about health and safety. His studio is clean and comfortable, and by following his easy after-care instructions, my tattoo healed quickly, with no problems whatsoever.
I will always treasure both my tattoo and the memory of the fantastic time I had at the Lion's Den. I recommend Big Mike and his wonderful establishment with a ROAR! God bless you, Mike!

This was my first time getting a tattoo, and I was very nervous. As soon as I walked in everyone was so nice to me, and made me feel very comfortable. Mike was AMAZING! He explained everything that he did, made me feel at home, and gave me a beautifully clean tattoo. I will come back for any others that I may get, definitely the best place you could go to. So nice, beautiful work, and very comfortable atmosphere. 100% go here.

In May, I got my second tattoo done by Mike. I was a walk in and had my own design of script and he kindly redid the design for me to make sure the letters were equally sized and spaced out! Very clean place, very nice guy. I felt very little pain, but even when I did Mike distracted me with his stories. Even with all of the help, it was cheaper than other places I have gone to/heard about. Reasonable prices and so helpful. Love the place and recommend to anyone who asks. Can't wait to get another this summer!

I walked in with no appointment and little expectation. I was maybe going to get something small and quick and gave Mike several ideas. He ended up free handing an entire cherry blossom branch and flowers. This came out better than any picture I found. I had another large tattoo that was my previous favorite one, but this is my new favorite. Such clean work, clean lines, attention to detail. Mike is someone who really cares about his work turning out right. But he still does it fast. Stop in. You won't regret it.

I am so happy I found Mike he makes you feel comfortable and explains everything in detail. But what is really genuine about him is his honesty. I was going in to add a tattoo to an existing area. When I got to the shop and showed him where I was going to put it he was extremely honest about where I wanted the piece placed would not look right. Mike took his time and came up with a great idea and plan. He was right where the piece is placed is perfect. I have an appointment in 3 weeks to add a final detail.

My friend got a tattoo for her birthday and the guy (mike) was so welcoming! Lovely environment, I didn’t feel like a stranger at all. He even let us put on music 😂 ( I put on Mr. Blue Sky and he appreciated that) if I could give more stars I would!!! 10/10 recommend

Lions Den is an intimate and friendly environment for tattoos. Mike was especially good with someone getting a first tattoo (although, truthfully, he’s just good with everyone) because he explained the process perfectly and has a wonderful way of putting a person at ease. The place is clean and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Lions Den!
