Eastern Pass Tattoo

Short version, awesome experience! I was finally ready for my first tattoo and contacted Weylin at EPT after checking out his Instagram and really liking the pieces he did for my partner.

To start, Weylin is a nice dude and talking with him prior to the appointment was a breeze. When I got there for my slot, he was finishing up another appointment but took time to share the drawings/options with me so I had time to make sure everything was perfect. The session went quickly and couldn't be happier with my first tattoo!

The shop itself is clean and everyone working there was nice so I highly recommend going there. I already know I'll be going back to Weylin/EPT for other work and you should too.

i went in today as a walk-in right when they opened and they were able to take me (which was great cause not too many places in philly do).

i got my first tattoo done by scott and he did amazing line work. he truly went above and beyond with the detail and turned a simple tattoo to something so cohesive and intricate - i love it!!

Visited here while on a three day vacation in Philly, the workers are super super friendly, my friend and I came in as walk ins yesterday, we each got two tattoos and were in and out within an hour to an hour and a half. We had Stacy as our tattoo artist, she was very sweet and made sure to that our tattoos were exactly how we wanted them, asked if we were okay and, how we were feeling during the session. She also gave us adive about out tattoos, like how to angle them, where they would look the best etc. She was also really talkative, and made conversation with us. The entire atmosphere was so welcoming. 10/10 recommend if you're in Philly :)

Weylin is the man, did an hell of a job on my cover-up. Definitely going back for all my future projects. Only downside is the waiting list is crazy long but still worth it in the end.

My favorite tattoo shop I’ve had the pleasure of being tattooed at. When I moved into the area and walked by the shop, it looked cool, so I did some research and quickly made an appointment. I’ve been tattooed several times by Marco, and once by Stacy, and I hope I can have the pleasure of working with the other artists. Everyone is so nice, professional, and skilled. From people who have lots of tats, to first timers, I’ve seen how gracious the entire team is to people who come in and they really put in the effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I once met the owner, Scott, and I haven’t been tatted by him before, but he went out of his way to say hi to me, thank me for coming in. Don’t forget about the shop apprentice/manager, Bruno, either! He’s the first one to greet you and is always personable and says hi. I could go on and on about how much I love this shop and the artists here. I definitely suggest coming here and being willing to wait to get on the books and also spend the money!

I visited Eastern Pass about 6 months before I decided to get my tattoo. One artist took the time to just speak with me and hear me out about my ideas and gave me his honest opinion about placement, design, etc. After considering his feedback, I went back months later and was greeted by really kind artists, one of whom was Justin who truly took the time to come up with a design that I loved and worked with my idea. This was my first tattoo and the experience was amazing. He did great work and was really kind and patient with me. I would recommend him to everyone, especially those who may be hesitant. I’m beyond happy with my first tattoo and will of course go back.

One of the best shops I’ve been too warm welcoming you feel like family even if it’s your first time, everyone there takes pride in there work and will never steer you wrong 10/10 experience I’m having Doug do an entire sleeve

I came in yesterday for a walk in appointment. I ended up working with Weylin and he was awesome. He drew up my piece pretty quickly and the execution was great. My piece was small, simple, and all line work and his lines were on point - I can’t find a single imperfection. Shop itself was super clean and bright and so welcoming. I would absolutely recommend this shop and any of its artists (considering the other happy clients I saw while I was there) to anyone!

Eastern Pass was always amazing when I walked in there. Even though they were usually busy, someone would always take a break and come talk to me. I ended up getting a tattoo from Weylin, who made me an amazing design. I brought in a picture/cartoon of flames that kind of looks like a decal for a hotrod auto. I wanted it all up my forearm, and most tattoo shops I went to previously said they couldn't do it because it would be too small. But Weylin said he could layer it and make it work, which he did. I came back in about a week and he had the design drawn out, so we went from there. We scheduled an appointment and I had it done a few weeks later. It took four hours, so I think it was around $500. I think their rates are $120/hour. But I forget and it could change so don't take my word on the hourly rate. I think this rate was very worth it as the service was amazing. Weylin was very patient and nice to chat with while we sat, which is very important for FOUR hours! He was also very supportive during the next few days when my bandage tore a hole he asked me to come into the studio and he replaced it (They use a clear saran wrap-like bandage). This was very important to me as I could not risk infection due to other medical issues that I have. Another nice thing about the sitting is that my sitting went a little longer than expected and Weylin had another appointment toward the end of mine, but he kept going with me and did not stop our inking. Luckily the other appointment didn't show up and we were able to compete mine with no interruption. I've attached the picture I brought into the studio for Weylin and some tattoo results (the blue 00 on my wrist was a previous tattoo of mine, not from this studio).
