This shop is amazing! (There’s a reason why it’s always ranked one of the best shops in Philly.) From the front desk, to the artists, to the mystery email scheduler, everyone is so friendly and helpful! It’s also extremely clean, and they take COVID precautions seriously—you get a KN95 mask as soon as you walk through the door.

Keith was my artist and did an amazing job. He’s hilarious and made me feel very much at ease. He encouraged me to tell him what I didn’t love about the original design and worked with me to make it feel more ‘me.’ My finished tattoo is amazing and everything I could have hoped for, and more! I will definitely be coming back.

Great shop with welcoming and friendly artists. Jeff Miller is a fantastic artist and has been nothing but enjoyable to work with. As with any artist, creative license is highly welcomed and makes for a better piece. Atmosphere has been very relaxed. Seven Swords has been a wonderful landing zone after no longer being able to go to my original shop.

My entire experience with this place was great! They were very responsive when I was emailing them about by appointment & even when I called in to confirm it. The artist that did my tattoo was Ben. He made me feel very comfortable & did my tattoo exactly how I wanted it. He's super down to earth & chill. I will be going back to him & recommending my family friends also.

I am happy to recommend Keith at 7 Swords! I scheduled an appointment to get a couple of older tattoos freshened up. By the time Keith was done, they looked better than they ever did! Keith was a great listener but he seemed to intuitively know exactly what I wanted. Keith is a talented professional and a nice person. Great job! I'm very happy. Thank you.

Highly highly recommend! This is my second time getting tattooed by Kieth. If you are looking for impeccable, top notch quality tattooing then this shop is the place and Keith is your guy! He absolutely kills traditional tattoos. Very professional shop and very personable people. This shop is the spot and you will definitely walk out the door happier then when you came in!

I cannot believe it took me a year to write a review about this place!

I first went here in January/February last year to meet with Reece, one of their tattoo artists at the shop. In the past year, I have had four epic animal tattoos on my arms and across the chest, all thanks to Reece! He is one awesome dude, who will be transparent about your vision and will tell you why this or that has to happen regarding tattoo designs, etc. I truly appreciate this kind of communication!

In addition, the climate is pretty friendly and chill - the artists would look at each other's works in progress and being supportive and all of that.

You will feel at ease from entering through the door to having your tattoo finished for the day. Check this place out - you will not be disappointed!

I got my first tattoo done by Shannon. I was lucky enough to get an appointment on my 18th birthday! The tattoo was so well done and everyone was so polite and welcoming. The shop was so clean and they took all the right precautions for COVID-19. I got a dog portrait and Shannon did it so beautifully and really put my nerves at ease. She is so talented and I have already started recommending this shop to everyone I know!!!

It was amazing experience. All artist specialize in different artistic styles which made me feel comfortable with my choosing and options. Would recommend definitely to anyone with interest in getting tattoos. Was very patient as well!!!!!

Highly recommend Seven Swords! I saw Keith for a “makeover” of an existing tattoo and my experience, beginning to end, was really great. The shop does an amazing job handling COVID precautions, supplying you with a new mask and having people check in outside of the shop. The whole shop is extremely clean and they have multiple air purifiers running to keep everyone as safe as possible.
The entire staff was super friendly, but Keith is particularly awesome. My existing tattoo carried a lot of sentimental value and he was super concerned with preserving it but making it 1,000x better, bringing it back to life. Added bonus: it was the least painful tattoo experience I’ve had yet. I am so thankful for the care and attention he gave to ensuring it came out exactly as I hoped it would, as well as checking in after the fact to make sure the healing process is going smoothly and answering any questions I have. I will *for sure* be a repeat customer and recommend him to anyone I know looking for an awesome tattoo experience.

I dealt with Keith and the mystery person behind the emails who connected me to Keith. Everything went smoothly from the beginning, they were quick to respond and verrryy professional (especially Keith). I gave him an idea with no real reference photos but he was still able to draw something up I was absolutely in love with and I couldn't be happier with my tattoo. Also the environment was very comfortable, I would trust anyone here for a tattoo, and will only come back here for my traditional style tattoos.
