Art FX Tattoo Inc

Art FX is an incredible shop with great, highly skilled artists and I can't recommend them enough! I went to get my 14th tattoo and needed a new shop after moving. I found Art FX and, after speaking with Mark (one of the lead artists) about my idea, he laid out the process and said he would find which artist would be best for me. I was contacted by Eric Gasper a week later and he had taken my idea and brought it to life; exceeded my expectations for sure. Also, worth mentioning I'm a type 1 diabetic, so getting tattoos can be tough with healing and the pain. They knew exactly how to proceed, set up a game plan for shorter sessions, and were great! I had my last session with Eric a few days ago and the tattoo is out of this world! Lastly, the prices were great for the high quality of work and professionalism you'll get there! I will definitely be going back. Huge shout out to Eric for all his hard work! Whether it's your first tattoo or 20th, you'll be glad you picked Art FX!

Eric is an amazing artist. I went in with an idea (my Harry Potter house) and he formed it into some that I couldn't have come up with. He was easy to talk too and explained every step (even though this is my 4th tat) like I was a newbie. Answered every question and double/tripled checked all my colors. When I went back for my touch up appointment it was just as good; I'd almost say that the tattoo turned out even better. Healed up beautifully and is absolutely perfect. I'm proud to sport his art on my arm.
I'll absolutely be back when I decide on my next tattoo. Thank you so much!

ArtFX is the only place I will get inked. The artists are excellent and work with you until you get the exact look you want. The shop is extremely clean and the artists follow all cleanliness guidelines. Dawn is my artist of choice. She's done 6 for me and they're all special. All the artists have their own specialties so check out the website.

I have been going here for only three years, a friend of mine has gone for almost 10. Dawn has done almost all the work on my body, and I would never trust anybody else doing work on me. I went there once before prior to the past three years of work, at their old location, and even then (12 years ago) they were absolutely outstanding! Amazing environment; employees are personable, clients are cool, art in the studio is unique, personalized stations are amazing and really speak to the artist's personality, and the work is amazing! I have never seen a piece come out of this place that wasnt a outstanding. I have seen other people who dont handle getting tattooed well, and the staff is extremely understandable and they work with you.
Everybody who walks in gets treated like family, and the employees treat each other lile family.
I have gotten a few of my 18 piercings here too and I have nothing but great things to say of them as well.

Zilla did a tattoo on my chest for me, I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted but I had an awkward blank spot. She helped me pick out my design and then proceeded to fix my other ones that would surround it as to make it all blend better. I have had many artists over the years do work on me and I am happy to say Zilla has been the best! Very professional with an eye for ink and placement!

Gasper was AMAZING!! My tattoo came out perfectly!! I would post a picture but it is still healing. He is a great conversationalist too. He makes the entire process as smooth as a hot knife going through butter. Thanks Gasper!!

Went back for a touch up of previous work which they honored for free. They stand behind their work and in this age its hard to find that. Got another tattoo which I was having a hard time seeing how it'd be done. Eric freehanded my art work with a fishing lure I brought in and brought it to life. Amazing work

My wife has 2 tattoos from Art FX, and they are both outstanding works of art. This is honestly the nicest shop in Pittsburgh, and I've been in several shops. They are very clean and orderly, but they don't give you the cold and unwelcome feeling in the pit of your stomach that you've more than likely gotten from other shops around. They are very friendly, inviting and professional at Art FX and I would recomend you at least stop by there before going anywhere else for a tattoo or a piercing.
