"Established in 2017 by husband and wife Judah and Trisha Helsel, Atlas & Anchor Tattoo is devoted to providing high quality work and an enjoyable atmosphere for each and every client in our brand new studio located in the South Side of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are open five days a week Noon until 7pm, closed Tuesday & Sunday. We are always accepting walk-ins if time permits."

Been there twice to get two different tattoos. Inside is really nice, both artists (Judah and Trishia) kept the area very clean, and both artists made it easy to schedule an appoitment. Tattoos were extremely well done. Will definitely be making this my main tattoo shop and recommend others stop in.

I got a tattoo from Judah and it is one of the tattoos that I get the most compliments on. I told him what I was interested in getting done and he created the most beautiful design! I always get compliments on how beautiful it is and how vibrant the colors are. I couldn't have asked for a better tattoo or a nicer dude to tattoo me! Judah's work is awesome and he is definitely worth giving your trust to create an amazing piece of artwork.

Judah (the owner) and everyone else there are awesome. Very friendly people and will be very patient with you. They understand their art will be on you for the rest of your life and will not stop until you are 100% happy with it. It's very good and definitely not over-priced. I recommend everybody who asks me where to go for a tattoo to this place. Atlas & Anchor rocks. These are a few cover-ups he did for me and I'm 1,000% happy with them.

I was recommended to Judah through a mutual acquaintance and I am not disappointed. I came to Judah with only an idea and he brought it to life in the form of a beautiful high quality piece of art on my arm. The shop itself is meticulously clean and an overall comfortable environment while the staff is really friendly and laid back. Some tattoo shops can be intimidating for people, but the staff here ensures that is not the case and is very understanding if you need to take a break for whatever reason. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait for my next session in May!

Absolute perfection! The healing process was a bit different from what I was used to, but it ended up being the best tattoo I have gotten. My artist, Josh, was able to fit me in for a last minute walk in, and even touched up an old stick and poke. If you are getting tatted in the South Side, you need to visit Atlas and Anchor!

I've followed owner Judah from another studio for the past 5 years and I won't go anywhere else! His wife, Trisha, did just as an amazing job. The color on my flower piece is bold years later and I love that they're a Christian parlor. Incredibly clean, comfortable waiting area, and you usually have to book out for an appointment-clearly they're one of the best!

I came to Atlas and Anchor as a walk in with a picture to base a custom tattoo on. Trisha did my tattoo and I love it! She answered my questions about color choices, took breaks during the line work and shading since it was my first tattoo, and it even came under my budget. Can't recommend them enough!
