The shop is full of really cool stuff, and everything about this place is absolutely excellent. They are definitely the best artists in the area, hands down.

The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. The shop is run by Hannah Aitchison, who is a truly amazing person and an incredibly talented artist. She is one of the most captivating and interesting people you will ever meet. She is incredibly talented and intelligent while still being really down to earth and just a pleasure to chat with.

I get so many compliments for my sleeve in progress, as well as my foot tattoo. They are simply gorgeous and both surpasses my expectations. The shop is interesting, fun, and relaxing. I am always made to feel comfortable by everyone. Hannah is amazing! So happy to finally get work from this talented and hard-working artist! A real class act!

I had been wanting a back piece for years, but only wanted Hannah as my artist. A trip to Chicago for 20 plus hours of tattooing seemed like a dream I would never realize. Thankfully, Hannah and Scott opened The Curiosity Shop in Pittsburgh. Look at their portfolios and you will see that they are two of the industry's best. Come to the shop and you will see they are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. I am completely blown away with my tattoo and a little sad it's almost done. I have to come up with another project for Hannah. Highly recommend.

I don’t even know that there are enough positive words in the universe to describe my experience at Curiosity Shop. My first contact was with Vivian via email and it set the tone for the whole experience. She responded quickly and the emails seemed genuine and not just scripted and straight business. The safety protocols at the shop were numerous and felt very effective without feeling “extreme” or uncomfortable. The shop itself is just cool there is no other explanation needed and the entire building has a great history and look. I feel so privileged to live in Pittsburgh and not have to travel to visit the shop...but if necessary I absolutely would. Hannah is literally one of the most captivating and interesting people I have had the pleasure of meeting. She is incredibly talented and intelligent while still being really down to earth and just a pleasure to chat with. I hope I have the privilege to continue getting tattooed at Curiosity Shop!!!

I love Hannah so much. I didn’t even get a tattoo here, I just came along for moral support and for a fun trip from Chicago to Pittsburgh. First off, when I found out we were coming to THE HANNAH AITCHISON’S shop, I lost my marbles. I remember watching her on LA Ink and she was my favorite!
Anyways, wow she is so sweet and kind and beautiful. She has this aura about her that just makes you so happy and so relaxed. It’s so rare I meet someone like her - who just gives off this warm, loving, kind energy. It was a 6hour session but I still loved being in there and just observing and just receiving that positive and loving vibe from her. Her shop is so cool - even has a vintage store when you first walk in with a lot of cool stuff. I met her husband and her assistant who both were so nice and wonderful and kind. I can’t speak highly enough about Hannah - she is just a pure joy. She’s so talented - truly gifted - and the tattoo she did came out so beautiful. I can’t wait to come back and hang out and one day get a tattoo by her. :)

Emailing the shop was one of the best decisions of my life.
Hannah was able to turn the vision within my heart into a beautiful representation through her art.
The shop is open, clean, and comfortable.

Scott did an outstanding job on my husband's sleeve, as well.
It was a great day with good conversation & ink that is above & beyond anything we could have imagined.

Hannah is an amazing artist, as well as being friendly and down to earth. This is truly a great place to sit back and have someone poke you with needles for many hours. Everyone is amazed with the detail in my tattoo, and it's not even done yet!
