I've know the owner (Chris) for almost ten years. He has done too many tattoos on me to count anymore and every one is awesome! He can do any style you are looking for but his portraits are amazing! Chris is fast, clean and his rate is beyond fair. If you want a great tattoo from a clean shop, get your ass in here.

Awesome. Chris is the only artist I will go to and the only artist I trust. I recommend Chris to anyone who talks about getting a tattoo. He does great work, is affordable, the shop has a great atmosphere and the entire staff is friendly, social and welcoming. Chris and Gentleman Jack's is by far the best tattoo shop around.

My friend and I got our ears pierced. We got pierced by Chris. My friend got her cartilage pierced and I got my second piercing on my ears. As soon as we got there we got called in and the whole thing went by super fast. Chris was supper professional and friendly. We had a great time! We'll both definitely come back!

I have to say that what they're doing at this new gallery is refreshing. Comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, extremely friendly owners and the shop owner Chris is one of the best artists around. I'm not making that statement lightly.
Do yourself a favor, go check it out for yourself and you'll be glad you did.
This place is all about the art. You won't find staunch, rude or pretentious people here, just some really personable and talented individuals doing what they love.

Chris is my artist and will follow him wherever he goes. He is a good artist, has a comfortable shop, does great work, and very fun to talk to. I always look forward to my next appointment to see what kind of magic will happen this trip. Will be back soon for more work, lots of space to fill.

My fiancé has been going to the for years, seeing how great his quality is, I have set my own appointment up with him. He is versatile, personable and creative; highly recommend !

I contacted this shop the night before to make sure they would have a piercer on site the following evening at a specific time. I was assured someone would be there. I then offered to make an appointment and put down a deposit, however I was told it was unnecessary. I arrived the following day at the previously stated time and was informed that the piercer had left for the day. I can't speak to the talent in the shop, however the communication and customer service piece could stand improvement. Also, the shop is set back from the road, so if you're not observant you could miss it, which is a bit of a challenge while trying to find a parking spot on top of it.

The most amazing experience at a tattoo shop. Never once treated like an imbecile. Other than the amazing work of art on my arm, the professionalism of this shop amazes me. I've been to almost all the other tattoo shops in the borough and this one by far has exceeded all my expectations. Evan thank you a million times over.

Got my conch pierced here and after 4 days the swelling was so horrible I had to take my piercing out. The piercer was incredibly sweet but used jewelry not made for a conch, so there was no room for my piercing to swell and heal normally. Wouldn’t really recommend getting pierced here.

If I could give Evan and Gentleman Jacks Tattoo parlor more then 5 stars I would. Evan made my vision come to life, and listened to exactly what I wanted. He made sure I was completely comfortable and satisfied with everything. I highly recommend all my friends, family, and anyone who wants to get work done to visit Evan and the rest of crew at Gentleman Jacks Tattoos.
