Great place! The artists are very friendly and accommodating!

Me and my husband stopped in Abyss Tattoo while on a romantic getaway. We were able to speak with Brody Garich right away and give him an idea of a Tattoo that we both wanted. Brody was able to do the art work and he did an absolutely amazing job on the Tattoo he did on my husband. J.D. Davis did all the work on my art and Tattoo. He did an absolutely amazing job, as well. We were so impressed by both artists. It was awesome that we were able to walk-in and give them an idea of what we wanted and we were able to get it done the same day. The work they did was matching Joseph's Coat Rose's. Both Brody and J.D. were doing our Tattoos at the same time and they came out beautiful! We would highly recommend Abyss Tattoo and both Brody Garich and J.D.Davis!

Good work. Got us in right away. The conversation got too close to transphobia and racism between the staff and another customer for my comfort. If I hadn’t already paid, I would have left.

Was a walk-in right at Noon when they opened, with a vague idea of what I wanted. Brody showed me what would work and discussed different ideas and executed my tattoo beautifully!! Highly, highly recommend - great people all around and entertaining conversations. Great place!

Everyone at the shop was great! Very helpful and patient. Got me in as a walk-in not really knowing what I wanted. JD showed me some of his new designs, was very willing to answer all my questions and excited to do one of his new designs. I was visiting from out of state but I will definitely make the trip back!!! I 100% recommend this shop and ALL of these artists!

We walked in. Picked out what we wanted. Brody was my artist. He did a cover up and he did amazing with it! I felt safe in getting the work done the whole time. He was professional, hygienic, polite and very skilled! I'll be back next time I visit that area! JD did my boyfriend's and he was equally as skilled hygienic professional and polite. Stella was also working and I seen her working and her work after the customer was finished she did awesome. Place was very neat and orderly. It was a comfortable atmosphere and with a partial divider around thier work area it gave some privacy.

JD was the BOMB! Took my idea and made it come true! Definitely a good shop!

At age 51, I got my first tattoo. JD was great! He told me to just relax, sit down, and not to move. It didn't hurt any worse than a Botox injection in the forehead. He worked with me to create the perfect tattoo design, and it turned out absolutely beautifully. I got to honor my Dad and also begin a new chapter. I highly recommend Abyss Tattoo!

Great experience all around! I have gotten two tattoos from JD and he has nailed them both, he is a great artist and he has some great stories.

Had been wanting an Ironman Tattoo since finishing in 2021. Brody was able to work up my art and get me inked all in the same day. Wasn’t the cheapest but who wants a cheap tattoo. Clean, professional and not afraid to tell me what he really thought or make good suggestions on how to improve my design. Would recommend and use again

I had the most wonderful experience with Stella at Abyss. She took my ideas, listened to what I wanted to represent, and I am the fortunate recipient of her art. P.S. Haters: 1. Schedule your appointment in advance. You will benefit from talking to your artist. 2. Don't bring clip art. That's for losers. 3. Look at their FB page, study their original art and take inspiration from it, or choose it. They have hundreds of unique designs.

This place was great! And the people were really nice and were really good at suggesting something that would look good and last! JD was awesome and made me feel comfortable while I was getting my first tattoo. Highly recommend!

It’s been quite a while and I’ve had many tattoos since, but I got my first tattoo (a sunflower, because I live in Kansas and I wanted to bring that part of me wherever I go) a day after my 18th birthday. The art is pretty good, but my artist was not nice at all. I went with another friend who got one of those girly flowery vine things because she felt left out, and another friend who got an anchor. After I and other flower friend left, our artist gave anchor friend a discount because she didn’t choose a flower and the artist “hated doing flowers.” I’d also asked my artist to do his own twist or make the design I showed in a way that it could be his design first. He said “every tattoo is the artist’s own twist.” I have shown other artists since exactly what I want and they didn’t “put their own twist” on it at all, because that wasn’t what I asked of them. He did end up doing it but definitely wasn’t nice about it. Now, I will say that it’s been 4 years, so maybe take this with a grain of salt, but it’s left a bad taste in my mouth this whole time. The lady in the front was really cool, though.

Hubs and I stayed at the Crescent Hotel for the weekend for our 20th anniversary and decided to get matching traditional style crescent moon tattoos as a souvenir. Abyss was highly recommended by a local, and we were not disappointed! We were paired with Scott and Brodie - fantastic gentlemen and fantastic work! Thank you for doing such great work commemorating our special weekend! ♥️
