Dom and Drew are both great people with loads of talent! It's always a good time and I have some great tattoos from both of them!

Best tattoo parlor ever. The vibe and artists are fantastic. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted and treated. Their artwork speaks for itself. I won't be going anywhere else for a tattoo since I found this gem. ❤️ Shoutout to Dom for an amazing job on my arm band tattoo. It isn't easy, but she did well. 100/10 will definitely be back again.

The shop was great, vibes were good and the staff was super professional and helpful. Dominique did a wonderful job. Highly recommend for flash pieces and costume work.

Both Drew and Neek are absolutely AMAZING! I have A few pieces now done by drew and will be back for more. They make you feel so comfortable, the vibes are always immaculate and i have Been more than happy every time i leave There. My expectations are always exceeded.

Lights out is hands down the best shop in Santa Cruz. Drew and Dom are both such inspiring and talented people it's so amazing. I love this shop so much the vibes are immaculate and makes u feel right at home. Cute lil cabin tucked away in the redwoods what more could u ask for!!?? I've gotten some of my favorite tattoos here and will always be returning. They're very serious about what they're doing and you can tell through the amazing work they put out into the world. Dom literally gave me my current favorite tattoo. I came all the way from texas to get tattooed by her and she did not disappoint! She was so sweet and so fun to talk to which is what you really need when getting a tattoo for 6+ hours 😂

So unbelievably stoked to have this amazing shop open up in Santa Cruz. The owners/artists are super dope people with amazing skill sets and range. The shop feels like walking into a homie's place--immediately welcoming and at home. It's super clean (I would almost eat off the floor), and has the nicest bathroom I've seen in ages (yeah, weird to mention maybe, but it's clean, nice, smells good, and as a lady it's super extra special to see that there are tampons if you so happen to need--just those extra little touches that show the owners go above and beyond in caring for their clients). I felt super confident and barely nervous at all coming to my first appointment here. The owners carry themselves in such a professional manner, yet also super chill and friendly. Appreciate you Dom and Drew! Can't wait for our next appointment!

I had an absolutely stellar experience at Lights Out. Upon entering I was immediately warmly welcomed by both Drew and Dom who are so amazingly friendly, funny, and caring--my experience with them made me feel like we were all old friends who had known each other for years. The shop itself is SO comfortable, like, I could see myself going to just hang out there because they did such an A1 job giving the place a super inviting vibe (especially with that lil fire place during the winter ). The conversation was upbeat, funny, and real--which helped me stay distract from the tattooing. Drew hit the nail so hard on the head with the design he did for me, and the irony: I wrote less than a paragraph in my "idea email" to him... dude has a great way of making art that fits the space and flows with the body placement, and is STUNNING. There's no doubt I'll be back to see them again. Thanks you guys for an amazing experience!!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! Went on their halloween flash sale and got tattooed by drew!!! they’re super accommodating and friendly and i felt so comfortable. my tattoo is amazing and drew was so quick and efficient about it. it was one of my most pleasant tattoo experiences. the shop is located in a super cute area with a couple cafes around and tables for waiting. highly recommend!!!!!!

I have several tattoos and the ones I get ALL the compliments on are the pieces that Drew did for me! He’s professional, incredibly talented and great to work with. I have moved from Cali but will be booking another appointment and flying there to have him finish out my baby lion Cubs one day soon! Highly recommend.

Dom is the biggest Chad I know. I would give up my left nut to finish my other sleeve from her (not pictured) but I am a broke college graduate. The vibes are immaculate, plus she bought me a sandwich one time. I love sandwiches.

I met Dom when she was just getting out of her apprenticeship and I’ve always admired her work and passion for art. She’s a great artist and makes her clients feel like long time friends. The most comfortable tattoo experience I’ve ever had. Definitely worth the wait, and I can’t wait to get more work done by her.
