Tanner is such a sweet soul!! He was the first tattoo artist to make me feel safe, comfortable, and free to change a tattoo any amount of times before I was ready to put his art on my body forever. He is incredibly talented and I can't wait to get more of his work done!

I have gone to this studio 3 times now, and I really enjoy the vibe. It's a comfortable place with plants everywhere, and quite a few things to look at as the artist preps their station. Most recently I was tattooed by Kirsten (Baby Ghoul), and it was an amazing experience. She was super sweet, checked in throughout the whole appointment from my arrival to leaving . Since I am bigger bodied sometimes getting on the table feels overwhelming, but Kirsten made me feel truly comfortable. I am also apart of the LBGTQ+ community, and I felt unbelievably affirmed and safe in that space with her which is a beautiful thing to experience while being tattooed. I cant wait to schedule my next appointment with her because I am hooked.

This shop is the place to go! The shop itself is beautiful, you’d never run out of things to look at. I got tattooed by Kirsten aka Baby Ghoul and the piece was absolutely sick. Not to mention she was so sweet and made me feel as comfortable as possible. Will definitely be returning!

I have had the pleasure of being tattooed not only by tanner but also by his apprentice, Kirsten (babyghoul). Kirsten creates beautiful art work and one of kind tattoos while maintaining a comfortable, welcoming and professional environment. Some months ago I had my siblings visit me as a last minute thing to say our goodbyes to my brother who we wouldn’t be seeing for a long time. Not only was Kirsten (Instagram @babyghoul.tattoo) super amazing for getting us in last minute and doing 3 tattoos in one session…. But she was incredibly kind and respectful when letting us share this moment with her. We (my siblings and I) had lots of emotions going into these tattoos and she made us feel so comfortable in her space. I would 10000% recommend her to anyone getting tattoos in Chico. The tattoo was also one of her first and healed nicely. Since then she’s tattooed my partner and he constantly gets compliments on her design.

Tanner not only is very clear as to what to expect from his walkin days, I watched him do everything in his power to accomodate clients on a very hectic day. He's very quick, thorough, and accomodating to people of different sensory needs and I can tell he wants to make his shop a very welcome/comfortable environment. As someone with very bad burnout/stimulation, I can sit in long bouts of comfortable silence and he was more than ok with that/completely matched my energy which was fantastic. Very comfortable energy in the shop. In all, it took him about 30ish minutes to blast out a KILLER walk in tattoo from his flash sheet, but added very up close/in depth detail that impressed my friends in regards to bone anatomy of the skull. I'd highly recommend trying to stop by for a walkin if you can't make books due to bunches of applications, the quality is DEFINITELY worth it!

Everyone in the studio were so wonderful. Tanner was my artist and he made my first tattoo very comfortable and a breeze. He is kind and respectful along with everyone else working there. They were able to recreate the exact idea I had in my head. I will absolutely be coming back to do a full sleeve with him. Thank you guys!

I had such a positive experience getting a very sentimental floral tattoo today. Tanner was very professional & calm and gave me exactly what I imagined. It was awesome to work with an artist that is so skilled and patient. I couldn’t be happier with this piece & with my visit & I’m so excited to be sporting this art on my body for the rest of my life. I’ll hopefully be back for more in the near future.

Out of my six tattoos this was the best experience I’ve had yet! So personable, accommodating, kind, and truly tailored the tattoo to fit my body exactly how I wanted! Beyond talented and grateful I was able to fill a cancellation spot (I drove 2 hours to get there specifically for this artist and it was worth it)

I was lucky enough to snag a cancelled appointment with Tanner after following his Instagram for a long while. I asked for a piece that was sentimental to me, and he genuinely heard my requests while drawing up an even better vision than I could have imagined. I stare at my tattoo in aw everyday, thanks Tanner!

Tanner did a beautiful job covering up an old tattoo for me and bringing my original vision to life! He is a true artist. I get so many compliments on my tattoo now. He has such an eye for detail & is an incredibly talented person! Not only is his work high end but he is also easy to talk too and work with! Also his studio is an art gallery in itself which makes the entire experience even more interesting and fun! I highly recommend!
