went in late one night , out of spontaneity and I wanted a tattoo I had in mind but I still wasn't sure about the size or style I just knew I wanted a rose on my calf. the guy there Nate, was so helpful and friendly, he sketched out a rose and it was perfect. Very attentive and nice to customers, and very sanitary environment. Out of all my tattoos the one I got here had the cleanest crisp line work and its still bold black. definitely coming back!

I contacted A. Thaxter to get an appointment for a half full sleeve tattoo. I gave a deposit of $200 to begin. Once the out line was finished, (one part, upper bicep) healed, and paid $180 on top of the $200 deposit ( I should still have a $200 credit) I contacted Thaxter to get the tattoo finished or more outline done to work on the sleeve. Thaxter never answers text/calls or returns calls for appointments. So basically I paid $380 for an outline of the outside bicep area of my arm. Extremely disappointed. Now I have to find someone to finish what he started. I’m extremely picky about tattoos and it took me a long time to decide. Obviously I chose wrong. Would not recommend this place at all!!!!
