I had an excellent experience at Chimera with Rudy this past weekend! A few of my friends had received tattoos from him recently, and the shop was highly recommended. He was able to fit me in after a cancellation, and he is absolutely the nicest man you could imagine. The shop is very clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere at Chimera is laid back, professional and friendly! I can’t say it enough- Rudy is a fantastic artist, and my final result is even more beautiful than I had imagined it was going to be. He listens to what you want, is flexible and attentive, and makes your ideas come to life. I am beyond thrilled with my new tattoo, and highly recommend Chimera, and obviously, Rudy to anyone looking to elevate their tattoo experience. I’ll absolutely go back for more, and suggest him to anyone who is looking for a tattoo artist.

I would definitely recommend Rudy and his shop to any one! This is my second tattoo and it's been many years between, I live with chronic pain and anxiety and was nervous before going, I was treated like family; made comfortable and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Chimera Body Art Tattoo Is a very clean and friendly tattoo shop. I definitely recommend this shop! I was tattooed by Brisa she is so kind and patient! She is in the process of doing a cover up for me and I love it! Rudy the shop owner is so funny and treats everyone so nice and offered us water and snacks through out the day regardless of us not being his clients. Check them out! I have already had 3 friends get work there and they loved it as well!

Rodolfo has to be the sweetest most professional tattoo artist in this town!! He made my tattoo experience so incredible! He made me feel so comfortable for the minute I walked into his beautiful shop which he prides himself in. He was very attentive and listened to my tattoo thoughts. He made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole tattoo session times. He made sure I was happy with what he stenciled on me and he even had me make sure the writing was correct before he started. Chimera has been one of the first tattoo studios on The Blvd for as long as I can remember, and it's success makes absolute sense. Rudy (the owner and artist) is so welcoming, professional, friendly and beyond talented! I went in at first to check out the studio after reading the wonderful ratings on yelp from other reviewers. My visit confirmed what I read. The studio is clean, very cool and customized decor. It's not like most tattoo studios at all, and it has it's own style. The equipment Rudy uses is clean and updated tools. The bed/chair you sit on is comfortable and adjustable which definitely is an overseen important factor when getting tatted (especially for long period of time). Rudy is a family guy and has a very calm energy to him, which is important to me as I wouldn't want someone with bad energy touching me while tattooing. His wife is just as dope as a FNP and also does body contouring and skin tightening at the studio too which was a perfect surprise as my girlfirend who came in during my tattooing was in search for. The combo of a highly skilled and friendly tattoo artist-business owner with a nurse practitioner in the mix made me feel super safe and taken care of. I was sooooo excited seeing my tatt that he did, and the after care with the ink sack he put on top of the fresh ink on my back was the first I've seen and experienced. Seriously the best tattoo experience I've ever had (I have several tatts from different places). I DEFINITELY will be back for more with Rudy at Chimera!

THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS REWARDING & PHENOMENAL.. I was a little nervous about getting my first tattoo, but within minutes of showing up here, I was put at ease. Rudy is BY FAR one of the kindest and most professional people I've ever dealt with in any kind of business/shop setting. He took the time to plan out the location and size, making sure I was happy with my ultimate decision, as well as talking me through the process.
