I was just on vacation for a week and was shopping on Melrose, I wanted to change my lip rings to hoops and I went into this place. The piercer was great but He charge me $80 for 2 stainless steel lip rings, but I went with it anyway. And the ball fell out the next day and when I went to have them put it back in, no one would even attempt to try and help me. The girl at the front was so rude and dismissive like I was bothering her while she was on her phone and she just kept telling me “nope no one can do it” “nope the piercers not here” “nope no one will try”. Not “I’m so sorry this happened, let me ask anyone that’s here if they could help” or even direct me to another place. I left in tears. It’s sad how one persons attitude can completely degrade a business. I then went to another tattoo place and asked for help, they apologized they couldn’t help but even they took the time to direct me to an amazing shop called “Through your skin”, everyone there was amazing and I am grateful for their need to want to help me and make my day better. When u work in a business like that, you need to enjoy what you do and if you want to be successful, you need to act like you care. So I just want anyone whose doing research to know this is a real review, not someone paid to write a positive one. EDIT: I now know how bad 1 review can hurt a small business. I was on vacation and unfamiliar with the area. They deserve more than one star. Sorry it took so long but I apologize. Sucked a piecer wasn't there when I came. Otherwise clean friendly.

came here with my girlfriend because she wanted a tattoo. our appointment was for 4pm we ended up waiting almost 2 hours before they did her tattoo. she got a simple small design that took the artist a whole 30 minutes and they charged her 160 dollars. I've gotten more complex designs that took way longer for much much less. extremely overpriced honestly felt like a scam. the artist I normally go to for my stuff charged me 100 for a much bigger tattoo that took him an hour and a half so you can understand how shocked I was when they charged her 160 for a tiny 30 minute tattoo. that on top of waiting 2 hours when we had an appointment is just depressing. I normally don't write reviews but I just had to this time I mean I am that disappointed. don't go here there are other tattoo shops that can do literally the same thing for way less money. I would say the only real reason to go here is for the artists individual designs but if you're getting something that's drawn by someone else then look elsewhere. I've gotten 4 tattoos at 3 different shops in LA. all of them took over an hour and I've never been charged more than 100 bucks. :( so yeah the proof is in the pudding. the cracks are indeed begging to show and it's so so incredibly sad. folks at home it is time to wake up and smell that coffee. don't go here.

Definitely recommend. Super laid back people and environment. I was visiting Cali from Colorado and decided to get a spur of the moment tattoo. Had no clue what tattoo shop to choose but i’m glad I ended up here. Even more glad that Kozy Ink did my tatt. 🙌🏽 Super nice guy, did great work and I love my tattoo. 💕 Will definitely go back there if I’m ever in Cali again!

My experience here was good I love my Tattoo, but when I got there I had an appointment @3 and I got there @2:50 and the tattoo artist wasn’t even there he was 45 mins late and when he got there he still wasn’t ready he didn’t start tattooing me until 4:25 and he finished before 5 o’clock it took less than an hour and he still charged me $150 and he was late and still not ready when he got there and still charged me almost 2 hundred dollars for a tattoo that took less than an hour to do. He also didn’t wrap my Tattoo afterwards or clean of the sketch marks, But expect that he did do a good job on the tattoo it was painless and it came out nice

This place is very nice and clean. Staff is very nice and welcoming! I am from the east coast and came all the way to the west to get my tattoo during my vacation. Cristo did my tattoo, he was very nice and professional, absolutely loved his work. He is amazing and did the work that no body could do in the east coast. Had to pay a little more than what I would pay back home but it was worth it! Thanks for making my appointment happen! I recommend this place and give it 100/100. Until next time!

Wanted two tattoos on my arm touched up/ fixed. Contacted them, shared pictures, explained what I wanted done, and scheduled an appointment. I show up and the artist was confused with my request, told me he doesn't work with the style of my tats" and told me what I wanted "would look weird". It's literally just geometric lion that need some bold lines and color. So overall they couldn't find me a capable artist to pack some color, be creative, or chill. I turned around and walked out, a shame.

We own several businesses and when I tell you Dave and his team deliver on every level….that is an understatement. You are always greeted with a warm greeting, listened too, assured of what you are doing and all in a pristinely surgically clean environment. this is THE WORST place ever to get a tattoo.... my tattoo looked ok at first and then after it just basely fell off.... like flaked off... plus my tattoo ''artist'' did not speak a word of English and neither did most of the artists there... only the guys downstairs speak English so it was sooooo frustrating! I will never ever recommend this. place to anyone... :(
