Had the best first time tattoo experience! The salon is incredibly inviting and feels like a safe space the very moment you walk through the doors. Couldn’t be happier with the care Zara provided from start to finish, and the beautiful piece I left with.

I got my first tattoo done by Erin back in september. I was super nervous but she gave me a run down and made feel comfortable throughout the whole process. She knew I was nervous so she did a little tester so I can feel the pain and I was nervous for no reason haha. If you want a good quality tattoo thats worth your money, this is the place to go ! Great energy ! I'm coming back soon !!! thank you Erin once again ! amazing work !

So I was tattooed by Erin in March of 2021 and by Zara in December of 2022. Both experiences were absolutely amazing. They were both incredibly sweet and both made me feel super comfortable during my appointment. My tattoo by Erin was my first ever tattoo and they were super patient with me, told me we can take as many breaks as I needed. My tattoo with Zara was my second tattoo and I was a bit nervous but she made me feel so at ease. And I am absolutely obsessed with both tattoos! And will definitely be going back to Opal Tattoo Studio in the future!

My favorite tattoo shop in Los Angeles! I’ve seen two artists (Opal_Tattoo and Erin.Russell.Tattoos) at this location and both were incredible! They are so nice and very thorough in their planning and execution of their art. Very clean, safe space. Very fairly priced as well, especially for the quality of tattoos they do and the tattooing experience they provide. I’m obsessed with the work they’ve done on me and I will continue to see them for any future pieces. If you are considering getting a tattoo in Los Angeles, this is where you need to go!

I got my first tattoo done here by Zara. Zara was so sweet and easy to talk to. She tattooed a memorial piece on my arm for my mom before my wedding. I absolutely love it and will definitely get more tattoos done by her in the future. I love her artwork and have been following her on Instagram for years. She’s awesome!

I just got my first tattoo done with Zara and I could not have asked for a better experience (especially considering it was my first time attempting to schedule a tattoo, discussing designs, etc.). My entire process from start to finish (submitting my design request, confirming my appointment, showing up to get my tattoo) was extremely organized and timely. The day of my appointment I knew what to do beforehand, we made sure everything on the design looked exactly how I wanted and we got started! She was very kind, easy to talk to and made sure I knew what was going on. My tattoo was a floral/paisley/mandala design and it came out fantastic! 10/10- would recommend to a friend and I would absolutely come back!

got tattooed by erin back in May and they were so awesome! the design they did was literally exactly what i wanted, and it looks amazing. <3 they are also so willing to work with you regarding pricing and creating something that fits within your budget. everyone go here it is awesome!!

I got my first tattoo here. Was incredible! The artist (and owner) was patient with me before and during the tattooing. Even when I had gotten cold feet and almost canceled, she made me feel comfortable and didn’t pressure me. During the tattoo I got to hug the emotional support shrek plush. She we quick for doing suck a flawless tattoo. Although breaks where offered I decided to do it in one sitting. Thanks to opal tattoo I have a beautiful tattoo of my sweet kitty who passed away. When I’m ready for my next tattoo I will be making another appointment with them again.

As someone who struggles with insane anxiety, I was so fortunate to have someone as patient and welcoming as Zara to create my first tattoo! She made me feel completely at ease. It was a great experience, and I hope to be back soon. I love having her art on my skin, and I loved being in the atmosphere of Opal Tattoo Studio!

I've gotten multiple tattoos done by Zara and I love every single one of them! She is so kind, understanding, and professional. Her work is so clean and she never has an issue making adjustments to the stencil when I get there. Her shop is so fun and welcoming and she always has on a great movie... If you need a tattoo artist in the LA area, you've found it!
