SMiles is a true artist! From sketch to finish it is absolutely beautiful and more then I could ever envision. This guy exceeded my expectations and I'm more then grateful for his time and imagination. This guy drew this from scratch which is special because it's one of a kind. I had an absolutely amazing experience here!!! Importantly, before you go back and look at old, worrisome reviews - the shop is under completely new ownership. Robbie was amazing getting my appointment set up, super responsive. Smiles was my tattoo artist and he is phenomenal. Made sure I was comfortable the entire time and did such a good job on the tattoo, I was thrilled with the result. Definitely recommend this spot!

Miles is amazing!! I didn’t have many ideas about what I wanted to do, I just kinda shot some thought out and he free handed my tattoo on me with a sharpie. After going over some logistics we went for it. It has held up incredibly well and is one of my favorite tattoos I have! He’s also a lot of fun to talk to and hang out with- I never felt intimidated or unwelcome. 1000/10 I reccomend Miles!!

Worst business ever

OWNER CAN’T KEEP HIS HANDS OFF WOMEN

We called on a Saturday afternoon to know if we could walk in and get two little tattoo pieces. They told us to go on Tuesday at 11 am. We were waiting there from 11.00 until 13.00 (there were 4 other people waiting outside that had been told the same). We went back some hours later and nobody was there. We lost our time. That is disrespectful. This was a very important tattoo for me because this was my first time in the USA and that was a memory from the trip. There are better options in the city.

We called to inquire about a couple of small tattoos we wanted to get done. The person on the phone told us they were walk in only and to come in at 11 (the time they supposedly open). We came on the day we said we would be available and were sure to get there right at open to be first in line. There were multiple people waiting, including a woman who was told the night before at closing to come at opening. Unfortunately, it seems that Gold Coast decided to simply not open on that day, as we wasted two hours waiting for nothing and saw countless people come and go, seeing that the situation was hopeless. Unprofessional and disappointing. Better options nearby!

Dont come here to get pierced unless you want the piercing to look place all wrong. Plus they didnt give my girlfriend options for earrings and went straight to the point. Dont come here for first time piercing. They will ruin the placement of the earring and its not worth 120$!!!!

I went in for a septum piercing and every thing seem great until I sat down and actually got the piercing , their piercer seemed like they knew what they were doing. He pierced and then I left I kept looking at it and when I got home I took a good look in the mirror to see that it had been pierced far too low and straight through the Cartlidge and was crooked every way it could be he had also pierced it to big I had gone to two other shops and had 4 other people look at and they all recommended that I take it out and let it heal over. I called the shop and asked them to re-do it, to which they said they would if I came in the next day. So I did I went in the next day to get it re-done only to find out the person who had done it had been let go so request my money back from the owner explain my issues, to which he proceeded to gaslight and said “ you have to understand a septum is going to go threw the Cartledge” which absolutely wrong Your septum is a thin wall of cartilage that runs down the center of your nose, separating your right and left nostrils. A septum piercing, however, shouldn't penetrate the cartilage. It should go through the softer space of tissue just below the septum. Piercers refer to it as the "sweet spot." and the only reason I’m giving this a 2 star and not a one star is bacause I did get my money back I do not recommend them!

I came to the shop on Thursday and made an appointment for today at 6:30 for a tattoo. Ive waited an hour and 45 minutes for the shop to still be closed and no one to show up for my appointment. Will be coming back to ask for my deposit to be refunded back to me. Huge bummer because I had a lot of tattoos I wanted to get here but will be taking my business elsewhere.

I came in as a walk in today not knowing if they accepted walk ins. And Rafael the artist was very quick to take me in & get my tattoo done , the tattoo came out looking exactly what I wanted it to look like. Very happy about my first time experience there. 10/10 recommended checking it out. Good quality work!

There Were Several Artist There, And It Was Art.

They layed down the stencil but didn’t follow it at all and even missed a letter in the word and had to squeeze it in. Super wobbly lines, pretty much screwed the whole thing up on a super simple small word tattoo.

Wanted to get a souvenir tattoo while I was visiting the area to commemorate the occasion and Gold Coast came recommended by quite a few of my tattoo friends back home. Walked in and Rooster took care of me for a consultation and said he had time that afternoon if I could give him an hour or so to get some lunch. Came back right on time, sat down, got tattooed and was on my way. Would definitely go back if/when I'm in town again
