Studio City Tattoo Los Angeles Body Piercing

It was the yelp reviews, and the personal recommendation that motivated me to drive all the way from Los Angeles to Studio City on a lazy Sunday morning. It was worth the trip. My daughter, my neighbor, and friend and myself all wanted second or third piercings.

Beautiful shop, very welcoming! I didn't catch the owners name but he was super cool and friendly. My tattoo artist was Danny Dunbar, also a really cool dude and amazing artist. We covered almost half of my right leg and he was super gentle handled, did perfect line work and was great all around. Couldn't be happier with my tattoo! The whole staff seems to get along really well so the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Definitely check him out, this is one of the best shops in Socal!

Dillon is an awesome artist to work with! He's super chill and friendly and made sure I got exactly what I came in for. He sketched out my idea right in front of me, and made a few copies larger and smaller and even flipped the image to make sure I was happy with the design and placement. Everyone in this shop is great to work with, the whole place is clean and friendly. Definitely coming back for my next tattoo!!

Visiting from Canada and stopped into the shop for some jewelry. Marv was SOO nice and AMAZING energy!! Our brief interaction is a great memory we’re taking home with us 😊🤘🏻

We took our 8 year old daughter to get her ears pierced for her birthday, and she was very scared, and took a long time to allow the second ear to be pierced. Steve was absolutely incredible and patient with her, and made sure that she knew that she was in control and could back out at any point. He explained every step of what he was doing, pulled the privacy curtain when other patrons started to "encourage" her, and made sure she was ready before he did anything! Truly the patience of a saint! If you're bringing young children to get pierced, make sure you bring their school ID and their birth certificate! It is required!

Came here to get my 10 year old daughter's ears pierced. Steve was wonderful! He told her exactly what he was going to do before he did it and made us both feel extremely comfortable. Everything was sterilized, Steve took time with us, and we couldn't be happier!

Jim Downs, Jim Downs, Jim Downs...did I mention Jim Downs? He did a gypsy tattoo for me...magnifico! Staff is friendly! Would highly recommend...did I mention Jim Downs?

Called ahead to ask about the possibility of getting a tattoo done for my wife - were able to send some reference pics via email and were told it could be done that day. Helped us find an artist to work with our timeline and specifications. Were receptive to questions and concerns and put us completely at ease. Shark worked with us to ensure the stencil matched the ask and that placement was perfect, helped us pick ink color, and put on a beautiful piece quickly. Did a great job on something outside what his portfolio normally showcases. Very pleased, will come back again. The ambience of the shop is super fun, and while we only got a tattoo done today I wouldn't hesitate to come back for piercing either. The piercer was a hoot, telling bad jokes and doing magic tricks the whole time. More importantly, though, we saw them do good due diligence on a piercing client who came in and advised that they wait on a piercing (at a potential cost of lost business) because they weren't confident a prior piercing done by another shop was healed enough for it to take (with care instructions and estimated wait time before they would recommend going ahead). I always appreciate a shop that will turn down a paying customer in the interest of better outcomes because I know they'll be honest about realistic outcomes!

I have had repeated bad experience. They use to be okay but now just a waste of time. I would suggest a place that actually does tattoo.

If your considering getting any piercings / tattoos look no further studio city tattoo and Los Angeles body piercings is the best of the best there the sweetest and they made me feel at home I was so scared to get my septum done but kat my pircer made me feel so calm I didn’t feel it at all not even a pinch the healing process is going so smoothly I forget I have it Elizabeth is the nicest person ever and I’m so happy I got to see her again today when they fixed my septum ball which had fallen out THIS IS THE BEST PIERCING SHOP IN ALL OF LA !! Loved my experience here! Elizabeth is very kind and knowledgeable and helped me pick out jewelry for my piercings. I was pierced by both Marve and Cat. Marve is absolutely hilarious; he pierced my right tragus and it was absolutely painless. 10/10 would recommend! Cat pierced my left tragus and left conch. She was very nice and is available to message with concerns. Great experience as well! Overall, I highly recommend getting pierced here.

I’ve got my septum pierced here and a few tattoos from Dillon and Joshua! They’re my favorite tattoos that I have. I love this shop! It’s always a great experience and they have my business for life.

Very happy with our experience with Studio City Tattoo! We were walk ins and they made us feel very welcome and managed to fit us in. We got a helix piercing and a small tattoo between us and are very happy with both our results. Perla did my kids piercing and Jim did my tattoo. If we ever manage to come back to LA we'll definitely come back to this place! Marv has a challenge to win (find a place with food that I'm not allergic to 😂😂😂) and I'll be getting another tattoo for my collection 😍 I can dream, right?! I was able to have a walk in appointment, virtually no wait time. Professional environment and great piercings! Literally talked about Elvira and Bon Jovi the whole time, Marvin did my piercings and was so nice! Highly recommend.

Went here to get my nose piercing on a whim cause we were in the area—BEST experience I’ve ever had. EVER! I got double nostrils while my mom got her helix done. Marv was incredibly funny, nice and overall the best. He really took his time to make sure we were both comfortable with placement and the overall vibe. The entire staff was super friendly and answered all our questions! They have a great jewellery selection and a good amount of affordable ones for those that can’t break out the big bucks for real diamonds. I plan on going back for my septum in January! Overall the best experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to a few places which were fine but didn’t have this much personality. They truly act like you’re family there. If you’re ever debating on a piercing GO HERE!

I had such an amazing experience at this shop and highly recommend it. I went as a walk-in and was helped out quickly! Dillon was my tattoo artist and did an amazing job. He was patient, kind, and gave great recommendations. It was my first tattoo so I was just a little nervous about where to place it, but he guided me perfectly and I never felt pressured in doing what he recommended. My tattoo came out perfect! While in the shop, there was a long line for piercings. The body piercer was Marv, and even though I didn't get services from him, I 100% recommend. So knowledgeable, kind, and overall just gave the feeling of someone you would want to do the job. This shop is very professional, clean, friendly, and all the other amazing things you could possibly think of. Highly recommend.

I walked in for a septum piercing in February 2022. Perla did my piercing and it turned out very crooked and was pierced on the hard cartilage in my septum rather then the soft part, leading to an incredibly painful healing process before eventually removing the piercing. Before she brought me back someone had me fill out paperwork and did a very poor job of explaining what I was signing. When Perla brought me back she sat me down, looked at my nose to prep me and mark me. When she was finished with the piercing she frowned at it, but let me pay and leave. I ended up getting it re-pierced by someone very knowledgeable that I found on Tik Tok. They told me that my septum is actually deviated and needed to be pierced a certain way to sit right on my face. Overall, I feel like she should have turned me away when she saw my septum if she didn’t know how to properly pierce someone with my anatomy. I also wish she had told me what happened when all was said and done, with the opportunity to discuss what could be done to remedy the situation.

I love the atmosphere in this place! Everyone is lovely and dedicated to their work. I've been in enough times and I've seen how they treat their customers with care and patience, the vibe is immaculate, cool music playing too! Eli has done multiple tattoos for me and he always goes above and beyond, Marv helped me with an old ear piercing and was super friendly and informative. I've watched the other tattoo artists and piercers putting the same level of care into their work as well, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Came to get my daughters nose pierced. Was able to work with Marv. He's such an awesome and fun person to work with. Loved the atmosphere and he made us feel really comfortable. Definitely coming back in a couple weeks to get a piercing for the wife and probably my first tatoo.
