Lily was the one who did a cover up of an old tattoo on my arm and not only was she extremely professional but did a FANTASTIC redesign! It came out better than I could have imagined and she has a light hand(unlike a lot of the heavy handed men I've been tattooed by) and she was super nice. The owner is also really chill and has some super impressive work and want to get my next tattoo from him.

The communications with the tattoo artist (Lily) was unpleasant. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had to reschedule my appointment with Lily due to some emergency and she said she would do it the next week without any mention of a deposit. Upon calling her on the rescheduled day she was asking for another deposit which she made no mention of earlier.

I came in here to get an estimate and a tattoo done. Talked to the guy who works here and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. Gave me attitude and I don’t recommend this place at all! There’s so many other places that are much better and nicer. I understand the tattoo artist said no probably because he doesn’t have experience with lip tattoos but it’s the way HE SAID IT. He was flat out rude. He could have said it nicely. And I’ve read some of the other reviews and if you look you’ll see how they have ruined and butchered other people’s tattoos. So I’m glad I didn’t get anything done here. Make sure to look at the yelp reviews as well. Lots of horrible stuff on there including work these people have done on people and messed up. Don’t waste your time coming here.

I got my first tattoo (ever) done by Lily the apprentice. I DM’d her on Instagram with a few reference images and concept of what I was going with for my tattoo, which were two doves. The shop was a little confusing at first to locate but the staircase is right next to Dish n Dash. I got in and was immediately greeted by Lily. She showed me the drawings for my tattoo and it was exactly what I wanted. With it being my first tattoo I was so nervous, but she was so sweet and took the process slow for me so I can get used to the needle. The whole session became way more relaxing than I thought it would be! Even after the appointment she made sure to check on my aftercare since my skin was a little sensitive to the tattoo and how my healing process was in general. I look at my tattoo every day and I’m so in love. I’ll definitely be back in a few weeks to do some final touch ups, but definitely go and see Lily for your tattoo!!

Katelyn, the owner, and KC, the artist, have always been professional, honest, and courteous in their interactions. They communicate great online and in person. KC has tons of experience and will he straight with you about what will work, what won't work, and what he can or won't do. We have been extremely happy with the pieces he's done for us and definitely plan on going back in the future. The Vale is awesome!

I had an awesome experience from start to finish with everyone at this tattoo shop. I was coming from out of town with my boyfriend and they helped us both get in on the day we were set to be in that area. Indiana is an amazing tattoo artist and an all around nice and easygoing person. He nailed our tattoos exactly how we wanted them. I only visit this area once or twice a year but I plan to sit in his chair next time I’m there. The whole shop was clean and safe and if I could give it more stars I would.
