Evan at space coyote tattoo is amazing at what he does I’ve got all my tattoos from him he did a cover up for a tattoo that I had gotten from someone else and it looked completely different after he was done I plan to get a lot more from this talented artist I’ve had some custom pieces done and some of his own pieces and I love work he does he is very patient with his customers 10/10 recommend Space Coyote Tattoo!!

Evan is the absolute best! Professional and incredibly creative. I’m obsessed with my piece!

Evan worked me in pretty quickly during our weekend stay at The Stanley. He was super professional and super great and informative! Great art, great job, great atmosphere! Highly recommend!

I wish I would have read the reviews on this shop before I went in. The guy working here seemed super irritated that he had to move from his painting and was very obviously high. I mean whatever artists preference I guess but when we asked if they tattooed minors he got pretty high and mighty so we skipped my sons tattoo idea and we’re still inquiring about mine which he then refused to do unless he could make it 5 times the size which in turn made it a way higher price than what it should have been. I get Estes is more expensive than my home town but this was just ridiculous. He very obviously only wanted to do what he wanted and told me my tattoo was impossible to do. We ended up finding another shop down the street who had amazing customer service and did an amazing job on my tattoo for a very reasonable price…if you’re in Estes skip these guys and call Redrum Tattoo!

Evan doesn’t like to answer questions, and is impatient and morose. Please avoid this place like the plaque this isn’t “artist” I’ve come across, and very unprofessional. Long story short. My tattoo is starting to crack and is now bumpy and patchy. Zero stars if I could!

I had an amazing experience, I made an appointment in advance and had a tattoo in mind when I went in I told them that it was my first so they didn’t recommend I get that for my first and I totally respect it. They are amazing artist and we’re so friendly they gave me such a great first tattoo experience, thanks so much! Shout out to Evan!

I had an experience today that I never thought would happen to me. I came to High Desert Tattoo because I already have one tattoo done by Evan that I love! I came in today and he did a fantastic tattoo. Once I got home, I realized that one word on my tattoo was miss-spelled. Now, I am not positive that it was my fault or Evans. I emailed Evan and he apologized for the mistake. He gave me a full refund and even offered to do a free cover up. I appreciate that he was quick with his responses and that we were able to come up with a quick solution to my issue. (That is why I am giving it 3 star review instead of a 1). I wanted to leave this review as a warning. I loved my 1st tattoo that Evan did. If you are going to get any words done DOUBLE CHECK his spelling. Do not make the same mistake I did. I will most likely not be coming back to this shop, but I do appreciate that Evan was able to help me and give me a refund for the mistake.

What an incredible experience! The cozy studio has art on display from both artists which really adds to the ambience and is located in the heart of Estes Park! Both artists have unique styles and are able to create custom pieces that will have you excited you came to them! Ian went above and beyond to create an original piece of art that I proudly get to wear! He listened to the details that I was hoping to achieve and nailed the design! We took the day to create his masterpiece and his endurance as a tattoo artist was top notch! My tattoo is healing beautifully and I will continue working with him for years to come! Thank you for taking your time and giving me such beautiful artwork!

I contacted them last minute about getting a tattoo of my chefs knife. Evan was extremely responsive and professional. He helped me decide on placement, size, and shading, which I am happy I deferred to his judgment. He was a really cool guy and I am very happy with my experience and my tattoo! Do recommend!

Sent an email so I could get a quote, was told immediately that my tattoo wouldn't work without any in person showing. Would expect a little bit more professionalism. Went to another shop in town and got what I was looking for. Would recommend going elsewhere.

Very happy with my boyfriends and I’s tattoos! Evan was super professional and knew what would work and what wouldn’t. My boyfriend found a design that he liked and Evan put a good spin on it so that it wasn’t an exact copy. Probably the easiest booking i’ve ever dealt with for a tattoo as well, super fun experience.

I've had alot of tattoo work done over time. High desert has been the best experience I've had. Very relaxing studio. All the artists are very talented and articulate with their work. Just a wonderful experience in general and the artists really know their craft. I trust them and highly recommend this studio!

Evan is amazing!

The tattoo turned out really well and Evan is talented, he does do his own thing so you have to trust in his abilities. If you have a very specific thing in mind you may or may not get what you’re looking for, but it will be professionally done.

Unless you want a pretentious artist to make you feel as though your idea is bad, do not go here. Went in with a very simple design and was dismissed by the artist on the location and premise, that it would be terrible and that I couldn’t do it at all. I would have rather be told that they worked rather not do it than make me feel as though what I wanted wasn’t possible in that location. Went to elsewhere and it was a much better experience, and got the tattoo I originally wanted and turned out great.

DO NOT GO HERE! Second review that this has happened. My daughter scheduled an appointment for her first tattoo and described what she wanted. Evan said we needed to send a $100 deposit to book the appointment. When he sent over the deposit request, the paperwork mentioned $50 for a small tattoo but he said it was a mandatory $100. The paperwork was not even drawn out in the current business name. In our correspondence with Evan we offered to send over what she wanted and he said he would just draw it up at the time of the tattoo. When we arrived, he refused to do what my daughter wanted, even when she changed the location from below the ankle to above at his request. He refused to do a small, abstract tattoo and drew on her ankle a design and said that would be the smallest and least detailed he would do. He did not offer to help with any other designs or ideas. We left without a tattoo, on her 18th birthday, and he refused the request to refund our $100 deposit. Would not recommend! They take your money and apparently enjoy ripping people off.

Neat shop with amazing artwork! Super talented and skilled. Evan is a 10/10 artist and a hella cool dude. It's always great to be able to chat with someone while they're tattooing you. Cannot recommend this place enough!
