Mile High Ink

Really disappointed with the lack of professionalism. I walked in and talked to someone (I won’t name who publicly) about my first tattoo that I wanted to get for my brother who had recently passed. At first the artist was very enthusiastic about the design, texts were exchanged and I believed it was going in the right direction. however I reached out on multiple occasions and while the artist said he had made progress on his concept and said he would reach out soon, I have received no other communication since ( this was October 2022). Disappointed to have to start the process over as they were recommended and close to my work, Guess I will have to get my tattoos somewhere else.

This shop is awesome!!! The vibe is great!!! I got my nose pierced by Tanya and I absolutely love it!!! This is the 3rd time having my nose pierced. Highly recommend this shop for piercings and tattoos!!!

I received a Tattoo and 5 Piercings from the shop. The tattoo artist, Ben did amazing work and brought my dream tattoo to life. The piercer, Tanya did 5 different piercings on my ear, including a Helix which is a very difficult one, and she NAILED it. My ears are so cute now and look the exact way I wanted. I definitely recommend going here for all your tattoo and piercing needs.

The piercer (Tanya) conducted bad piercings on me and blew it off as swelling when I commented on how far back they were. After getting home (several hours away) I inspected again and called to speak with a manager. The phone was handed to Ben, who instructed me to take pictures and promised to call me “Right back”. After calling a second time, and being blown off right before closing, the piercings were inspected at a local shop that verified they were done improperly for a woman and to remove the piercings before they caused permanent damage. The piercer also nicked my breast with the needle on the first, and the clamp slipped on the second. I still have not received a response from management.

I'm really disappointed today. I was hoping to get my second tattoo at this shop today, while visiting from out of town. I got an incredible tattoo done here previously and had a great experience. Healed the best of any tattoo I've ever had. Photorealistic. I've included a photo below of it I just took. I had an appointment with Ben at 1pm today. I texted yesterday to confirm and even called the shop just to try and make fully sure my appointment was booked. But he never showed up. I texted him and the other people working at the shop said they tried to reach out to him but didn't hear anything. I sat and waited an hour for a tattoo. Not sure what he had come up, but I still haven't heard back from the artist. I know if I no called no showed for my tattoo appointment, I would be expected to pay some sort of fee. I understand that people have things happen but it's just not very professional. I was really looking forward to this and had even planned part of my trip here from MO around it. Guess I'll have to find a new shop.

My friend and I went the other day and the man who did ours did not know what he was doing nor what he was talking about. He took an hour and a half for piercings that should’ve taken tops 30 min. He also gave really bad advice about after care.

Found this place with a simple a Google search and honestly this shop is awesome. It's so welcoming and inviting. The guy who did my piercing was super kind and made the experience really comfortable. I didn't get a tattoo but loved Sailor's energy and def will have to get in touch for a tattoo.

I've always had a hard time getting an appointment. I feel I've been patient but how do people get an appointment? I've called 3 times, sent 2 emails on their business website and sent a message to the owner. If I'm not welcome, I'd like to be told that rather than ignored for weeks. I've had work done there before, so has my spouse, and even sent family here.

Brought my daughter in to get her Septum pierced for her birthday, the atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff are wonderful. The entire place is spotlessly clean. We will definitely be coming back, probably for our mothermother-daughter tattoos.

Recently got a tattoo at Mile High Ink by Ben. Ben was amazing at making sure I was as comfortable as possible. He is an amazing artist and well surpassed my expectations. Great communication about my ideas and what was possible and gave me various options on my tattoo. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for ink.

Called Mile High Ink to get a second opinion on my nose piercing (got it pierced at a different place) They confirmed it was a nickel allergy and got me in that evening. I was so unhappy with my piercing before seeing these guys, and the chick that changed it from steel to titanium was super sweet. The place is immaculate and Benjamin is a pro and super informative. My nose feels and looks 100x better and I am finally enjoying my piercing. I would recommend them to anybody and want to use them in the future for sure.

I want to commend the entire shop and Ben for a great experience being my first time getting a tattoo. I appreciate them working around my schedule and the work that Ben did. Super helpful and willing to sacrifice his personal time on his day off. I love my tattoo and would recommend him and Mile High Ink to everybody.

I got my cartridge pierced by jess and I had another piercer look at it and it is so visibly crooked. I didn’t go in for a cartridge but got talked into one after being told the industrial wasn’t doable. Do not trust her she says she has experience but she does not. She claims to be a professional and an expert however doesn’t have the skill to prove it. Her space is unorganized and dirty. If you don’t believe me just ask her to pierce with a hoop, pierce a difficult piercing and she will try to talk you out of it to try to hide the fact she can’t.

They were all such lovely employees and a great environment. They went above and beyond in keeping me comfortable. I got snake bites done and they look great, they handled it with such care. Definitely coming back here!

My wife tried multiple times to get herself and me setup for a tattoo. Matt repeatedly told her that he would call back and never did. Very disappointing considering that my brother and my niece spoke very highly of them. After 6 weeks of trying to get something going we gave up and are going somewhere else. Very unprofessional company. Would not recommend going here.

My 9 ear old daughter got her ears pierced here. Loved every second of the experience. Super professional. Very kind. And was joking with her the entire time to put her mind at ease. Definitely must go for a clean ear piercing experience

Went here for my first tattoo and I love it. Everyone was nice and the artist (Ben) made sure I got what I wanted. They were very efficient and nailed the tattoo.

Caitlin is an unbelievable tattoo artist! She matched the picture I brought in 100%. She was very friendly, played great music and always made sure I was doing ok. Plus she got me an appointment right away. Extremely pleased!

Everyone was super nice and my experience a pleasant one. I got my cartilage pierced and would definitely return to get any more piercings or tattoos. Highly recommend!
