I LOVED this place. My friend recommended it to me and I am forever thankful for her. I was immediately (and warmly) welcomed right at the door and felt totally at home and at ease. Corey was so patient and thorough during the whole process, and just a pure genuine soul. I will forever be raving about them and this place! Easy 5/5.

Corey had done my tongue and eyebrow piercing. They made my experience so comfortable and sat with me until I was ready to leave the shop. The shop is clean and everyone is very friendly and professional. They walked me through the process and went on my time making me feel more at ease. I was nervous to get my tongue pierced but Corey talked me through it and made the experience amazing, not to mention both piercings came out perfect.

I see alot of these reviews are good but they tried to force my girlfriend to buy their expensive jewelry. This place is not affordable at all. They wouldn't do the piercing without her buying over 500 dollar jewelry.

Corey is the best. Very professional and thorough. They made sure everything was done right, had a strong attention to detail, and they were really cool and nice the entire time. I got my bridge and industrial done by them, and they came out amazing. It was the most professional and chill experience I've had with piercings ever. I highly recommend them, and I will be coming back for more piercings

Corey is amazing! I came in for a piercing consultation last week and they were incredibly patient and creative, taking me through all my options and providing insight into pain level, healing and aftercare, and all the beautiful jewelry available. Based on our initial conversation, they worked on a curated design for each of my ears with some recommendations for jewelry and placement, so I could see how it all comes together. I started with a tragus and flat piercing earlier this week and Corey and Nicholas are both so lovely to work with! Corey did the piercings under Nicholas's observation, and with just a little pressure on my ear, it was over before I knew it. I felt really safe and comfortable here and I can't wait to keep working with Corey. Highly highly recommend!

Best piercing experience I’ve had! Corey is the bees knees! They are so kinda and knowledgeable, and their attention to detail is impeccable. They do a great job of making you feel comfortable and explaining every step of the way. I will be back for all future piercings!

I had the most marvelous experience at Burning Hearts Tattoo. This is, hands down, the cleanest tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. I had the pleasure of meeting Corey, who was super sweet and friendly, and Nick was my tattoo artist and did a fantastic job! Going in with the concept, Nick drew up two different sizes for me to pick from so that I could really get an idea of how it would look (unsure of the placement at first). Happy with my decision, the tattooing itself was done smoothly, patiently, and professionally, all during great conversations. 10/10 would recommend, tell ya friends!

I got a conch and tragus piercing from Corey. They did an amazing job. They made me feel calm, and comfortable. Not to mention, they did such a thorough job throughout the whole piercing process. Will definitely be using them for all future piercings! :)

The service here is far above any shop I've been to! Nicholas & Corey made my daughter & I feel like we've been coming for years! The process to book online was simple & everything was straightforward. (I do wish the jewelry was viewable online, but no matter) we were not pressured to spend (besides my daughter pressuring me to buy lol) everything was super clean & their process to show you the jewelry was sanitary was awesome! We were offered to have Corey do the piercing, which we both received lip piercing (Monroe & Madonna). Corey was just awesome! Can't say enough about their professionalism & kindness! Got a daith piercing done a few weeks ago by Corey and they did a fantastic job! Nicholas checked over the placement and supervised the piercing, which Corey executed wonderfully. This was my 9th piercing and is definitely healing the best so far. Would highly recommend Corey and Nicholas!

I’ve had multiple piercings done here. It is a very good business. They make sure you know everything they’re doing, including the sterilization process; this is a very clean place, not sketchy at all. The piercers are so nice and make sure you feel comfortable. Everyone is so friendly there.

Awesome shop right in the center of Hamden. I've been getting tattooed for 18 years, this place is clean and welcoming as soon as you walk in. Wes is the owner and does killer work. I'll definitely only come back to Burning Hearts. Rest of the artist are really nice and give off a chill vibe, unlike other shops I've been to. 100% recommend to anyone from now on.

I’ve been wanting a nose piercing for as long as I could remember, and I finally decided to take the plunge and book an appointment! The booking process on their website is so easy, and explains what you are paying for, etc. I met Corey on Monday, and I was incredibly nervous. Corey put me completely at ease, explained the entire process from start to finish, and made sure everything was safe, sterile, and placed properly. I barely felt a pinch, and it was over! I left with a sweet piercing and a bunch of cool stickers, one of which included care instructions (super neat!) I highly recommend visiting Corey here at Bleeding Hearts Tattoo Company for all of your piercing needs!

Years ago I had my first few tattoos done by Wes elsewhere and then I moved out of state. I want to start by saying I’m sure he is just as wonderful as he was then, especially because he owns this place now. I decided to get my first piercing in 7 or so years and chose this shop because I trusted that Wes would have only the best there. I was BLOWN AWAY by how amazing my experience was. I arrived early and was greeted upon arrival letting me know I would be seen shortly. Nicholas came out and started chatting with me almost immediately and answered the first few questions I had, as I was super nervous. It turned out they had a guest piercer working as well, and while I was initially nervous because I had expected Nicholas, they both chatted with me and explained everything and answered all my questions. I was ridiculously impressed with how they treated me as I was the only thing that mattered — having patience, giving me advice based on personal experiences, letting take my time, reassuring me, etc. The professionalism and genuine caring in this place meant more than anything to me. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! I also want to say that years on YEARS ago I had asked to get pierced elsewhere and Nicholas was the piercer there and he had turned me down bc he knew it would reject. He really knows his stuff and won’t let you down!

Got my first ever tattoo with Mickey, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He's as professional and talented as he is personable and caring. He did a killer job and kept me as comfortable as he could throughout the process. The friendliness of the staff and their practice of sanitizing their tools in front of you is an extra measure of safety and reassurance that I made the right choice to come here. I'll definitely be coming back!

Super kind, clean and professional! I just got a nostril piercing from here and had a great experience. Nicolas and his staff are really nice and you can tell they know what they’re doing. Definitely recommend this place
