A few months ago, I received a tattoo from Gary Noriyuki. I’m just as impressed with it today as I was when I saw it for the first time. Gary took a half-baked idea I had, and turned it into a true piece of art that I’m really proud of. I’d give Lucky Soul more stars if I could. This was my first tattoo and from the beginning, Gary was clear and transparent throughout the entire process. I’d recommend anybody to come here.

I can't express how happy I am with my tattoo. Katrina was amazing and easy to work with.
While the waiting area was in need of a good vacuuming, the work areas were extremely clean.

I absolutely adore this shop. It has such a calming atmosphere as soon and you walk in. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful right from the get-go. This was my first tattoo so I was extremely anxious. Fred eased all of my worries and did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job. I highly recommend him!

Recently my cat Smeagol had passed away after 16 years and I was devastated. I wanted to honor him with a memorial face portrait tattoo. After looking around for a tattooist, I found the artist (much more then just a tattooist) Katrina at Lucky Soul Tattoo. She asked questions about him and listened to what I had to say about him. Her did such an AMAZING job bringing him back to life for me. As long as she is at Lucky Soul, I'll be her customer. Thank you Katrina! Long live the Ewoks of Endor.

This is a great shop. Super clean, spacious, and the artists are amazing. I worked with Uriah. I wanted a simple bee tattoo on my arm. Nothing cartoony, nothing scary, just a pleasant bee to honor my mom (her name is Bea) Uriah came up with the perfect design and then totally blew me away with the shading and detail he was able to do on this 1” tattoo. He is a super nice guy and made feel extremely comfortable the whole way through…from design to finish took less than an hour and I was smiling ear to ear.

Lucky Soul is the go to shop for high quality tattoo work. I have gone to them for years, ever since they were located back in Ansonia, so many, many years ago. I have worked with the regular artists who own the shop as well as several of the guest artists they have available over the years and always receive the best service and without a doubt the highest quality artwork in the state in my opinion.

Horrible experience here would not recommend to anyone. Gary was supposed to do my tattoo and he was extremely rude, sighing and acting like it was a huge inconvenience to answer any of my questions. What a disappointment.
