Mercy Tattoo Studio

I came here for my first tattoo (after A LOT of asking around for references) and I would 20/10 recommend Mercy Tattoo Studio for your first or fiftieth. The shop is clean and looks more like an art gallery than a typical tattoo shop, the booths are clean, the artists and staff are accommodating and very friendly. My tattoo healed beautifully and the line work is impeccable. Friends told me to come here because this is easily the place to find the best tattoo artist in the region, and I completely understand why now. It's true. Masters of their craft.

Rad experience from start to finish. Only got a small knuckle tat, but Karli was the best communicator and very responsive, Cody was extremely laid back and super cool. I’ll be back!

Our tattoo experience was awesome at Mercy. Dave Watts is an extremely talented artist who seems to really love his work. If the day comes for another tattoo, we’ll be seeing him again!

I have wanted to get this done for a while. My first tattoo! Ahh! I had a scar I wanted covered but nervous about finding a tattoo artist, the process, the pain, etc... I hit up Google for the best tattoo shops in the area and looked at several but I was still on the fence. I then came across Mercy Tattoo Studio and immediately knew this was the place! The website is thoughtful, easy to navigate and professional. I really like that Reanna has a YouTube video where you get a feel for what she’s like and what she’s about. Reanna is super cool, down to earth, easy to talk to, and does an excellent job! Her shop is by appointment only. I emailed to schedule a consultation with Reanna. Reanna’s sister responded quickly and scheduled the consultation. When I arrived for my consult, Reanna met with me, discussed my tattoo ideas, she looked at the scar to consider best options, showed me a few examples and we came up with the plan. I paid a deposit to get the ball rolling, she scheduled my next appointment to come in for the tattoo and she got to work drawing up the design. I arrived for my tattoo at 3:00 and we looked at the design she created, fit it over the scar, it was perfect! The other tattoo artist left the shop for the day so Reanna locked the door behind him, she was not dealing with any walk-in traffic while she was working with me. I was her #1 focus. I really liked that! She made sure I was comfortable and had Netflix pulled up ready to go for me to watch. After finishing my tattoo I got up to see the finished product in the mirror and I started crying I loved it so much! Reanna’s YouTube video said no crying though, so I held back the happy tears until I left. 😆 I was out of there by 6:30. In and out in 3 1/2 hours! Thank you for such an awesome experience, Reanna! It healed up nicely and I am no longer embarrassed about my stomach and feel so sexy with my new ink! I should have cleaned my mirror for the pic. 🤨

Reanna did a coverup tattoo for me and did an amazing job! Highly recommended. I will be returning soon for another! Her studio was very clean and organized and I felt very comfortable with her.

LOVE MERCY! Reanna is truly the best! The best artist I have ever been to and I have quite a few tattoos. I’d recommend her to literally anyone. The whole mercy tattoo studio is super clean and super cozy! Her whole staff is so kind and accommodating. Love this place! 10/10!

Cody was unaware of my correspondence with Karli prior to the appointment, so he had very little information about what we wanted when we showed up for the appointment. The shop is clean and quaint. The tattoos turned out great. No aftercare instructions were given. Update: Karli advised that a new procedure has a been implemented to address the miscommunication and avoid further issues.

In Destin for the weekend wih friends and decided to get tattoos. Ask for Cody !! He did a great job !! Very professional, patient and a great sense of humor.

Fantastic tattoo artists! Clean with nice decor, and friendly staff. Had a cover up done and I am incredibly impressed with the results, can't see the old tattoo. Great job!! Will go back.

My artist did an amazing job every detail of my tattoo stayed. He was the best at everything that he did to fix what another artist ruined. I am extremely happy with how it turned out and will definitely be back for my next tattoo!! Not the best pictures but I tried 😅.

The shop is extremely nice and clean. Curt did my tattoo and although it was pretty simple he was meticulous. He was very nice and funny. I could not be happier with the service.

Curt did a knee tattoo for my 20 yr old daughter. I was so impressed with how patient and kind he was working with her to get it just the way she wanted. He is an incredibly talented artist! This was our first experience with Mercy but it will not be our last! I would recommend Curt without hesitation!

My wife got an awesome tattoo done by Curt, he did a fantastic job and was fun to work with.

Would not recommend going here. Went for a tattoo by Curt, ended up with half of an okay piece that had many mistakes. Artist denied the mistakes even though they were obviously wrong and claimed I didn't "get" tattoos, even though this is my sixth piece. Owner said I wouldn't get my deposit back despite the contract not backing this up. Overall bad experience, they will try to milk you for money and give you a subpar product.

Curt did my first tattoo yesterday and I'm so impressed with how it turned out. The shop was clean and professional and I felt very comfortable. Curt is extremely knowledgeable, talented, and kind. He was able to take my idea and bring it to life. Now I have a really cool piece of art on my arm that I'm proud to show off. I couldn't be happier both with my tattoo and my experience. I would highly recommend both Mercy and Curt any day!

Super professional and clean. Not your typical filthy tat shop. The artist are absolutely amazing!
