WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Me and my boyfriend visited Miami and decided to get couples (name) tattoos. The price we were quoted was a little expensive but it was about the experience as these were very sentimental tattoos. My boyfriend went first and when he finished we stated multiple times that the tattoo was too thin, he pretty much kept refusing to make it thicker claiming the letters would “spread” or “bleed” together. We foolishly decided to listen to him instead of going with how we felt. Needless to say a month later the tattoo is pretty much non-existent. I have many tattoos, this is the first time in my life I have seen a tattoo disappear! It started fading a week after and now my name pretty much isn’t on my boyfriends hand anymore. To make matters worse when I contacted him, he was not apologetic, kept making excuses and told me to dispute with the bank for a refund. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL and it’s actually sad as this was a very sentimental tattoo. So now we have to go to someone else to fix the tattoo! Just a waste of time and money! He was tipped pretty well too! The pictures show how they looked right after getting them done and how they look now…. So now I’m left with a faded tattoo of my boyfriend’s name and my name has totally disappeared off his hand… Embarrassing! The tattoo is still disappearing a month later… The tattoo artist name was Maksim by the way!

Walked in for a flash tattoo but ended up getting a custom design from Maks and it was the best decision ever! Maks is an amazing artist, attentive and very articulate with the design. Since this was my first tattoo ever he also made sure I was comfortable during the session and regularly checked in with me afterwards. He offered a touch up session so the tattoo turned out great and stayed vibrant even after peeling. The studio is super clean and the candle they used smelled so amazing I ended up getting the same one for myself. I’m already working on a second piece with Maks and can’t wait to see how it turns out.

Hi, I got tattooed by Ash at the beginning I wanted 2-3 tattoos but had one more in mind but I wasn’t sure she would have time for it but she reassure me and made it work. I got my fourth tattoo with Ash at Uplift Miami! I've been to Uplift in NYC before, and had a wonderful experience with their customer service and artists. Their Miami location is no where close to being as furnished or well-established as the NYC location, but still completely professional, clean, welcoming and a wonderful experience. Ash is an incredible tattoo artist and she is also so easy to get along with! I will for sure be going back to her in the NYC location for a touch up, when needed. my fine line tattoo came out exactly how I wanted it!

Was easy to make an appointment, tattoo came out faded, and Anastasia said she will do a touch up but never came through, never answered, notice it’s been 7 months, so it’s false when they say in the beginning they are faded. They said Anastasia is a resident in NY so why does she operates business in Florida? Very unprofessional and incompetent. I suggest stay away from this place, they will find million excuses not to fix the issue. Have to pay at another place to get it fixed.

I initially got a tattoo in their nyc location and unfortunately the tattoo didn’t last longer than a couple weeks. I reached out to the artist who said she would do free touch ups but given that I live in miami she put me in touch with that location. From the second I connected with them they were all too happy and ready to fix the tattoo. The customer service with Uplift has been incredible. And while the tattoo didn’t work with the artist in nyc I still had an incredible experience up there and it’s wonderful to see a business that truly works to satisfy the customer even across state lines. Had an appointment for 6 PM; and was there at 5:45 just to be safe. Walked in and wasn't greeted, but the artists were with clients so I completely understood. Stood at the register for over ten minutes waiting for service and was finally recognized that I was there. I told them that I had an appointment for 6 and was told to take a seat. I sat and waited...and waited....and waited. After 20 minutes and the artist being done for almost 15, I thought I would be able to get to my appointment. Sadly, that did not happen. I continued to be ignored and was well past my appointment time. But it's ok I guess. Since the two white girls that came in after me were IMMEDIATELY greeted by name and were sat down with, their customer service must be amazing.

My mum and I had been scoping around for somewhere to get matching tattoos. I stumbled across our artist Jakki through instagram and loved the fine line work she did. She usually works at Uplift Tattoo in NYC but was coming down to the Miami studio for a week which worked out perfectly for us. It was super easy to make an appointment online, the only issue you may have is with parking in the area so make sure to account for that in your travel time. Jakki was absolutely lovely and very patient, we love how they came out. Also, remember to leave a nice tip for your artist :)
