Nice facility, but very weird obsession on whether or not I wanted it enough. I was interested in getting my first tattoo here. The website stated that I should have 4 reference photos and to make a consultation appointment. Which I did. I even drew a little sketch of my own to show the pokemon I wanted and the positions I wanted them to be in relation to each other for a simple forearm tattoo. I was okay with there being a fee to do a preliminary sketch to see what she could do, but the fact that she kept stating that she would have to figure out if she could even put a tattoo of some small dragons and snakes(dragonite, dratini, dragonair) on my forearm was very weird. She kept telling me I needed to put the tattoo on my thigh instead of my forearm. She has over 10 years of experience, she needs a full thigh as her canvas? Very odd, and again, she continually asked if I really wanted it. I made the appointment, sent in the 4 reference photos, drove there from my house, and showed up 15 minutes early. Why was that in question? She wasted the time I spent driving up there as well as her own time. I'm sure they're great with their regulars, but they should probably think about the way they phrase their questions when speaking to someone who is getting a tattoo for the first time. Very scary, very confusing.

I’ve heard people are a bit hesitant to visit Mockingbird since it’s newer compared to other studios in the area, but I’m so glad I decided to bring my idea to Ashley here!. She is very kind and my tattoo looks perfect!! This was my first tattoo so I was nervous but I felt very welcomed. Thank you so much for giving me a great tattoo and a great experience. I hope to come back for future tattoos!

Amazing experience at Mockingbird Tattoo Co. I worked with Ashley on an arm piece and she gave me exactly what I wanted. She checked on me and offered numerous breaks, water, etc, anything I might’ve needed. It was a super easy booking process through their website and everyone in the shop was very kind. Will definitely be back in the near future!

This is a great shop with fantastic artists. I found Byron through a personal recommendation and went to Mockingbird for a consultation. I was looking for someone to use art I'd had specially made for me, and Byron was on board with my vision the whole way. He did a fine line tattoo for me and a solid color tattoo for my husband. Byron took his time to get every line right and always kept a calm demeanor in the 7 hours we spent there. Every artist we talked to was personal and professional and we felt extremely comfortable there. Highly recommend this shop. Looking forward to going back soon 🖤

The customer service is excellent, the shop is very clean and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. Ashley did a piece on me and it is amazing, and she was great to work with! Will definitely be going back.

Byron did my tattoo and he did a wonderful job! He was so nice, made it a great experience, and gave me an amazing tattoo. I also got the opportunity to speak with some of the other artists there who were also very kind and welcoming. Great shop with great people! Will definitely be going again soon :)

I had the pleasure of having Rhada as my artist. She's amazing. I came to her with a few ideas and what she came up with turned out better than I ever imagined. I am obsessed with this tattoo. So glad I went to Mockingbird! The shop is clean and welcoming and everyone there is friendly. I can't wait to get more work done there!

Can't say enough great things about this shop. My artist came here about 5 years from a Body of Art, it's a very bright and inviting place. Justin Forgea is an amazing artist and a great dude all around, my wife and I have been clients of his since 2011. He just did a portrait of my pup that past earlier this year and I'm absolutely staggered, it's a beautiful piece. I can't recommend him and Mocking Bird enough, but be patient, this kind of talent and customer service means they're booked out. It's worth the wait, trust me.

I filled out the appropriate form for a tattoo here. All I was looking to get was a floral design across my chest and I included several pictures of my ideas. I would've been able to pay whatever they were going to ask and be open to any ideas they had to make my tattoo work. I was contacted within hours. Someone from the shop reached out to me via email for more information. After I replied to that email, nobody responded to me for several days. The other messages I received from them were lightning fast so I waited a bit and sent another email requesting information. I was told in one sentence: "Sorry we can't help you." No reason was given. They couldn't even set up a consultation with me to discuss the tattoo, or even provide a reason why my service was refused. I moved here a few years ago and have many tattoos already. All of them I got back in my home state and still I've never been treated like that anywhere. If they really value or care about their customers, I feel that they could have at least had me in for a consultation where they could explain any issues to me, tweak my ideas, and explore new ideas. You know. At least pretend to want to help me, and try to open a relationship with a potential customer. It's okay, though. They lost a lot of business with me as I have many tattoo needs and need a home shop. xx :( UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE FROM OWNER: Shame on you for trying to shame me about what tattoos I have on my body! You'd think a TATTOO PARLOR would have more sensitivity and professionalism! Someone contacts you for help with a coverup and you ridicule them for what they have there? It's all good. I tell everyone I know how unpleasant you people are and how rude you have been to me! It's your business, not mine! I am working with a different tattoo shop that drew me up a gorgeous sketch the same day, sat down and discussed ideas with me, texted and communicated with me for every appointment, and tweaked their design to fit my vision. Dana is a great tattoo artist and listened to exactly what I wanted for my tattoo.

Apologies in advance that this may be a little long. For starters this was my seventh time getting ink but first time at this location. I saw a client with some new artwork and was absolutely stunned. It was one of the best I have ever seen. I looked at the detail, the line work, the shading, I couldn’t find one imperfection. I had to know where it was done. I am mediately followed them on Insta and went through almost all the artwork that they had done online. I immediately attempted to send a DM to get an appointment. I was told the books are closed and I would be notified when appointments were being taken at some point in the future. I continued to follow them online liking most of the posts that I saw if not all of them. After approximately six months I reached out again when I saw the books were open to get on the list. It was still approximately two months later before I got my appointment. As you know anything good is worth the wait. The shop is brand new, clean, modern and has several talented artists. My appointment was scheduled for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. We started by reviewing the design on an iPad and made several changes. Again having had this done before I knew what to expect but was amazed at the concern for perfection prior to starting. When the design was placed it was erased five times before getting it absolutely perfect. Knowing that this is something that’s on you forever I was impressed and pleased with the strive for perfection. I highly recommend the studio, and planning on going back soon and cannot say enough good things about Mila and the job she did!
