Thunderbolt Tattoo

I like this place. The shop was not overcrowded. My guy cleaned his hands, had a clean workspace, and wore a mask. He showed me what I was getting before starting the work, to gain my approval. He even shared some crazy and hilarious experiences. He worked fast, but carefully. I was educated on how to care for my tattoo.

4th tattoo yet, no clear mission in mind for what I wanted. Knew most of what i wanted but couldn't pull it all together. Then Joe stepped in and it all came out amazing. He walked me through the process and informed me of the different elements of my tattoo and how they would fit together. Great conversation punctual and everything else, lined up perfect. Couldn't be happier.

On the more expensive side but well worth it. Duel rules.

Great piercing experience, fair price and was able to walk in and get pierced pretty quickly.

I got a conch and rook piercing, and Maya was AMAZING! She was so kind, so helpful, and most importantly, SO patient with my indecisive self not rushing me with the positioning or any other hesitations I had. And they turned out amazing! Best piercing experience ever. :)

I had 3 tattoos and a nose piercing, everyone is nice and professional. Love it there

I did not get pierced here, but I did come to get some new jewelry put in. Maya helped me pick out jewelry for my nose & cartilage, and she put it in for me. She also worked with me on finding a post size that would not be visible from inside my nostril once in. I had a great experience and would definitely go back for a piercing woth Maya!

If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would. Being my first tattoo experience, I had no idea what to expect. Long story short, I'm already looking forward to having more tattoos done here. Saje Gary is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and does outstanding work. I've gotten numerous compliments, many of which have ended with "I need to check this place out." Keep up the great work!

Finished my tattoo about 7 years ago, when people comment on it they say it has amazing details and looks like I just finished it.

If you want ink, come here! Great artist. Great service. Clean. This is my third round with Thunderbolt. I will NOT go anywhere else.

I didn't really go in, but my bf went in for his first ever free consultation, and he was so happy after. There were No more worries or questions. This is the place where he is 100% comfortable to get his first tattoo. So it's a 5 star place for me

I had quite an amazing experience from this shop alone compared to a lot of other shops I been to in the Atlanta area. When you first walk in you have a great shop manager to greet you named JR. When I had my first ever interaction on the phone with him prior to coming inside the shop, he was the most friendliest in the hospitality section of other tattoo shops. Every time I would call other shops it would be sort of blunt and cold cut. It was like a feeling that they kind of hated what they did. My first time there I wasn’t even going in for a tattoo… it was for some lobe piercings. Now, I have two sleeves from Saje who was very kind and loves the work she does. You can tell she puts effort into her art. I’ve been a regular since November 7th 2021 and I don’t see myself stopping until I get everyone in that shop to tattoo a section of my body. If anyone ever needs to get tattooed by Saje I highly recommend, because she can perfect any style graciously!

I had an appt for a consult but they apparently didn't put it in their book. They were not accommodating considering they screwed up. Had me wait 30 minutes for absolutely nothing. It seems as if they cater to women. I could barely get a word in with anyone. That would have been understandable if they were busy. From the outside looking in, they weren't. If there was something going on, they simply could have communicated that with me and we could have possibly worked something out. One person won't stop their business from thriving, but my money will not be spent there.

Saje and Emily are AMAZING. The entire staff is so chill & really fun to be around.

Had a great experience here - I was nervous going in because this was essentially my first tattoo. Angelina put me at ease and the staff in general made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Cute and clean place with a great vibe. I love the way my tattoo turned out!

I got a tattoo from Saje! Let me start by saying that it's EXACTLY what I wanted. Her line work is amazing. I couldn't be happier. I'm not from here and I was nervous finding an artist. I am so glad I did my research that led me to her. My spine tattoo is so straight and clean. I will definitely be back. An added bonus is that she is the sweetest person EVER. Very professional. Very understanding. Very knowledgeable. Thanks so much Saje!
