I've been checking tattoo places around Savannah, so far, the Tatlyfe Studios is the best.. Aniya and her husband Jake, the great tattoo artist has a light hands making you feel less pain while doing the ink on my skin. I thought it's painful but it proved when you have an excellent artist, I would say, It was a smooth experience and met my expectations.. Thank you Tatlyfe Studios!

I went to this place because it was hevily recommended and now I know why. They were really upfront with everything and told me what they needed and it made it so much easier and the tattoo itself is phenomenal!! I love this place great atmosphere it’s just a great place to get a tattoo

It was truly an amazing experience from the initial consult to the finishing of the tattoo. They are an amazing team, very professional and personable. The tattoo was designed specifically for me, and more than I imagined I will be back to continue my journey.

When I started looking for a tattoo artist in this area, I read a lot of reviews (days and days worth), visited shops from here to Hilton Head, and spoke to lot of people because tattoos aren’t just a way of expressing yourself; tattoos are an investment, and I don’t trust my investments to just anyone. I’m really fussy about three key elements: the shop, the artist, and the ambiance. These are the things that will elevate your ink AND your experience, which is just as important. As I said, I visited shops in two states, and spoke to a lot of people, but let me tell you… the minute I spoke to Aniya, I knew Tatlyfe was the only choice to make. She took the time to explain every detail of their process to me, discuss my budget, and my concept, and things only got better from there. Meeting with Jake, the absolute Michelangelo of tattoos, was phenomenal. I had an open, one-on-one discussion with him, explained my concept and my purpose, and he took off with the idea. He invested his time in ensuring that I get the most meaningful, perfect tattoo for me. The shop is immaculate, and my favorite part is that only one client at a time is in it. There are no people wandering around, contaminating your sterile, clean space, or breathing on your work while bending down to see what you’re getting. It’s soothing, and the energy is so calm and relaxing. This shop, and these people, are genuine magic. If you’re looking for a quick, easy, picked-out-of-a-book image that hundreds of other people have, this is not the place for you. However, if you’re serious about your ink, looking for a custom, tailored-to-you piece, and are willing to put your time and money into the BEST, Tatlyfe is where you want to be.

I went here and got a tattoo of Jimmy Buffett for my father. Big Jake killed it. I am absolutely in love. Mrs. Aniya his wife that does the business she runs the business the way it should be but she runs it with heart the truly care about their customers so if you want a fire tattoo but you want to be treated with dignity and respect. ( But you better do the same because they do not deserve to be disrespected) get you a tattoo from big Jake at tatlyfe studios and talk to Mrs Aniya they will hook you up. Words simply cannot describe how thankful I am to have stumbled upon this shop a little over 10 years ago. Big Jake’s artistic talent is truly a blessing. You give him an idea and he runs with it. The outcome has never been anything less than amazing! Once he did my first tattoo in 2012 I haven’t went anywhere since then and never plan on it.

Jake has done three pieces for me and I’m preparing to get the forth. Jake and his wife are very personable, transparent, professional, and their customer service is top notch. Very professional, unlike any other shop out there! The artist is very good with taking your own ideas and creating a custom piece that showcases his talent while giving you a tattoo to be proud of! Would recommend for anyone looking for custom tattoo OR coverup. Saved me tons of money AND pain from laser removal!
