Best quality tattoos I have ever seen. Leo’s creativity to design my tattoo was unbelievable, it turned out way better than I could’ve imagined. Raquel was super nice and professional, she found a way to get me an apportionment even though I had a very tight schedule. Everything was perfect!! I cannot recommend this service enough.

Don't waste your money. I don't recommend this service. Do not hire Leo Mayer Tattoo or services from Leonardo Alves Sousa. Do not hire a tattoo service from Sorry Mama Tattoo Honolulu and do not hire any service from Raquel. Don't waste your time and money!

It was amazing and unique to get my best tattoo with the stupendous artist Leo Mayer, and his business maestro Raquel, who nailed the whole experience. For the main objective, I have on my body a huge undoubtedly work of art, a product of several hours of attention to detail, dedication, commitment and love for what he does. Howsoever, I’m obliged to describe the whole exquisite process to get this art on my body. Since I live several miles from Hawaii, Raquel arranged a trip to Nashville, TN where they had a really nice place to welcome me as a dedicated customer in a VIP experience. As I mentioned above, several hours translates into 4 days fully covered with attention, care and quality time spent together. I felt right at home despite the pain of getting a tattoo as big as mine. Leo and Raquel treated me like family, and I enjoyed every moment. I returned home extremely happy with the result and the memories built on this trip and would repeat it as many times as possible.

I have the best tattoo thanks to them they are the best! They fit me into their schedule while I was in vacation in Hawaii which was super nice of Raquel to do for me. Thanks again!!!

Of all the tattoos I have gotten, this place has been the best experience by far! Not only was the artwork designed custom for my piece, but it was masterfully done, too. During breaks I was treated to refreshments, and their hospitality was of the highest calibur. Great people with great artwork and talent :) Will forever recommend anyone looking for a unique, abstract, or watercolor tattoo check this place out!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! My husband and I dropped by hoping to get an appt. Raquel was so accommodating to our schedule since we were on vacay at Hawaii! My husband had an idea for a tattoo and the perfection of it is unreal. Leo is very talented and takes all ideas provided. While I wanted for my husband, Raquel was SO kind and made sure my waiting time wasn’t a drag. She provided snack and treats! Quoted prices are true not like other tattoo artist with hidden and/or surprise fees.

What an AMAZING experience with Leo and Raquel in Chicago!! They welcomed us with open arms and treated us like family- hugs and all!! Words simply do not adequately illustrate the craftsmanship and customer service. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new art and anxiously await their next trip to Chicago so I can get my next piece. I always have the best experience with Leo and Raquel. They are both are so welcoming and caring. I’ve gone to tattoo shops where the artist treats you like a number, but with Leo & Raquel, you can tell they take pride in their work. Leo’s tattoo work is amazing. I can’t begin to tell you how many people take notice to his artwork. His style and attention to detail is awesome. I have darker skin, and he knew exactly how to make colors pop. I always wanted some color for a tattoo, but I assumed it wasn’t possible. Leo made that possible and I’m so grateful and pleased. I’ve had absolutely amazing experiences with them each and every time. I highly highly recommend you book with them!

I absolutely loved the attention to detail and Raquel is such a nice lady and very sweet. As to the artist Leo Mayer he will blow your mind if you ever get the chance to get tattooed by him. It was our first time in Hawaii and wanted to get a tattoo resembling our trip.we found sorry mama tattoo shop and I’m so glad we got a no from the other shop we went to . Sorry Mama Tattoo’s work is AMAZING with capitals. So if your in Oahu stop by your not gonna regret it ☺️

I was absolutely blown away by the experience of getting a tattoo with Leo at Sorry Mama. We actually met very randomly at a bar one afternoon while I was on holiday and hit it off, as he and Raquel are such lovely people. He gave me his card and I was very comfortable to book in. Ironically this was my first tattoo and a tribute to my late mother, who probably wouldn’t have liked the idea. People are amazed when I tell them it’s my first tattoo, but Leo is like a magician. I was able to sit through the whole session without discomfort or pain. His attention to detail is incredible. Overall, it was a transcendental experience and I can’t wait to book in for more tattoos the next time I’m in Waikiki.

Working with Leo and Raquel has been the most satisfying experience. When it comes to tattoos, booking an appointment can be extremely frustrating, but not here. Raquel was incredibly helpful with my booking, catering to my schedule needs, and replying in a timely manner. She conveyed my ideas to Leo and set up a consult before my appointment. We were able to talk more about my vision, placement, and design; which I appreciated because it helped save time on the day I got my piece. On the days prior to my appointment Raquel was very diligent, confirming the time and helping with parking options. Upon arrival they made me feel welcomed and offered me plenty of snacks and drinks… Now to the best part, all I can say is WOW! Leo is hands down the most talented artist on the island, his pieces are so detailed, creative, and clean. He is Also the most delicate artist I’ve ever encountered, i don’t think I would’ve been able to sit down for a 6+ hr tattoo with someone else. When it comes to rates, you get what you pay for and This experience was worth every penny. I am obsessed with my piece and I will continue to work with this power couple!

The shop was beautifully decorated and clean. The staff was so welcoming and offered snacks and water. I got a leg tattoo here and it came out amazing! Definitely highly recommend for anyone looking to get a tattoo

I wish I could rate this business a zero. I never actually write reviews but I depend on them a lot when I’m trying to decide between multiple businesses so I hope you find this review helpful. I am super unhappy with my experience working with scheduling my appointment with Raquel, who is the manager of the business. I had two tattoos scheduled with the artist Leo. I had booked my appointment 3 months in advance, I explained how I would be moving off island so I wanted to book ahead of time. Two weeks prior to my appointment Raquel texted me and said she had to move my appointment and she requested a specific date and time she needed to move me to. No biggy, I was able to move my work schedule to accommodate her requested date but asked her if she could do a little later time that day she requested. She said she needed to ask Leo if the time would work for him on that day. A few days passed and I had a date scheduled but no time so I reach to her and she responding back trying to change the date again! I explained to her I had already moved my work schedule around the date she had already requested me to move my appointment to and we had already agreed on a new date but we just needed to clarify on the time. Finally she said she understood and scheduled me for the new date and time. The night before my appointment I realized she hadn’t sent me the address so I reached out to her and asked for it and I also confirmed I would be seeing her tomorrow for my appointment. She responded by sending my the address. The next day/date of my appointment, just 4 hours prior to my tattoo time, she texted me telling me she needed to reschedule my appointment…. requesting to move me to the ORIGINAL date I was scheduled for! After already moving my work schedule and accommodating to move my appointment multiple times, I told her how I couldn’t move it a 4th time so she canceled my appointment with no further discussion.
