My sister and I were in Maui with our family and decided about two hours before we had to get on a plane to go home that we wanted to get matching tattoos. We walked into the closest tattoo shop we could find (thank goodness it was this one because they did incredible work). A local let us go ahead of her and get our two small matching tattoos! So grateful we randomly walked in here, we love our tattoos!! The artist that did our work did a wonderful job and was so kind and helpful! I would give a million stars if I could!! Jerry is super knowledgeable, professional, patient to get things just right, and easy to work with. Custom design work turned out better than I could have imagined.

Upon recommendation from a friend, I came here and got a tattoo done with Stacey. She did an amazing job, not heavy handed at all, and was a super chill person and made the session enjoyable. All the workers in general I interacted with are fantastic and knowledgeable with any questions I had.

It was my last day of my vacation in Hawaii and I wanted a *Monroe* piercing..I choose the Vagabond Tattoo Co. The piercer was really nice who did the piercing, didn't even hurt that bad. Great job, I would definitely recommend there services.

Fantastic! My son, my sister and I decided to each get a pineapple tattoo on the spur of the moment. It’s a family business, so we had the father, mother, and son doing our tattoos…they were very accommodating and are wonderful artists. Since we all wanted the same tattoo, they were excellent in creating the tattoos for all three of us! I would highly recommend them! The tattoo shop was amazing! The atmosphere was friendly, very spiritual, and we really loved it. It was a very enjoyable experience for all of us. If I ever get back to Hawaii I’m going back there for another one! Jeff you rock!!!

Before writing my review, I had read the way you respond to customers who have had a bad experience and could clearly see the lack of empathy. We are human beings and we do our best. It's not about putting ALL the blame on the other person, it's about trying to see how we can progress and evolve. Clearly I see that he has a lack of empathy and the ability to question yourself (I clearly feel lucky to be able to do this on my side). The next time you are embarrassed to answer an email, take some empathy and courage to do it and question yourself as well. You have good feedback and of course most of the time you do a good job but you are human beings ... we are not perfect too. ---- I had a bad experience with them. The staff, Jerry, Bryan and the other woman weren't friendly. Bryan did my tattoo. It was my first most intense experience with a tattoo. I take my responsibility, I should have been able to speak up and I gave up after seeing him frustrated, when I asked him to make changes to it he was very put out, Jerry wasn't helpful either. Also, I heard from the back room that there was a problem with the resizing and I was able to realize it afterwards, the shape of the spider web and the bow appear as if shriveled up and the round one in the center has become an egg. Maybe Jerry and Bryan have a hard time to handle when people ask for modification, they maybe feel criticized? Really I don't know, but it's not professional at all. When you do a tattoo, something that will stay on your body, you should have an emotional training to treat people better. I wish I could have said "ok we stop, I don't feel to do it anymore"., I felt stuck with my $100 deposit ... a way for them to keep some power on you. I wrote to Bryan to explain the situation and I wished that wouldn't happen with another person, but he didn't answer.

Bryan was amazing.. Took the time to ask what I wanted. Great talent.

Overall great experience! I am an avid goer of ink. One full sleeve, large back piece, both Rib cages, and chest. Been around tattooist and shops basically my whole life. As a tourist not knowing where to go. Vagabond nailed it! From the very beginning with Jerry. Than hanging with Stacey and getting some of the best work I have seen by Cole. You really can't go wrong here. Will definitely be back! Looking forward to having Cole add to my leg piece in the future! The wife got the water Lilly, and I got the turtle.

I called and they were able to fit me and my wife in within a few days. Bryan was very invested to make sure we got the tattoos we wanted and did a fantastic job.

I can't say enough good things! The entire staff was kind, experienced, understanding and fun. Jerry did the most beautiful cover up on me, I was blown away. Stacy has pierced my daughter a few times and she is wonderful, super gentle and kind. Jerry also tattooed my daughter for her first tattoo and it was a perfect experience. Highly recommend this place!!!!!

Vagabond tattoo was great. We wanted permanent souvenirs of our trip. They got us in the day before we left which is exactly when you want to get a new tattoo. Cole is super talented. His fine line work is the best I’ve seen. I had ear piercings that weren’t symmetrical. The piercer gave me a new ear piercing so now they are the same on both sides. The artists at vagabond are professional and friendly.

Everyone here was awesome! Made me and my wife feel very comfortable and welcome. Jerry did a great job on my tattoo! Will definitely go back the next time I'm in Maui...🤙

Most amazing shop we have ever been too, we’re from Spanaway/puyallup wa. And came to Maui for a much needed family vacation. My daughter just turned 16 and had wanted to get her septum pierced for years. We check around at different shops and was highly recommended to check out vagabond. Best referral ever!!! Stacey was absolutely the best!! She has the best energy and vibe! Super welcoming and chill which totally helped ease my daughters nerves… ohhh and another badass side note she’s from our home city !!! She is a flipping QUEEN!!!! We totally would give her a billion stars if we could!!!! Thank you thank you thank you Stacey!!!! We definitely will be back absolutely!!!!!🤗🤩❤️🤗🤩❤️

If I could give Jerry and Vagabond 10 stars I would 🙌 Ugly tribal on the right picked off the wall 30 yrs ago when I was young and dumb and even darkened /updated 10+ yrs ago... I saw Jerry working on a cover up with another client which was amazing and asked him if we could cover mine up. I wanted color with palm trees and a sunset and he came up with this refection idea 🤯 I get daily compliments (literally) the picture speaks for itself on how awesome he did🙏🤙(I've sent a bunch of friends since who are equally stoked with their ink)

I L-O-V-E-D this place! The owners Jerry and Sarah are the nicest people. I had a great experience from start to finish. Their scheduling gal was super nice and friendly. She gave me some great tips to do while I was on vacation to make sure I was able to get my tattoo. Jerry was my artist and he brought my vision to life. I didn’t give him a whole lot to go on but he made it happen. I am an artist as well so this was important to to be involved in the creation. He created a tattoo that is super meaningful to me personally, my trip and his work. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. You won’t regret it!

I had a lot of fun despite me being extremely nervous. This was my first tattoo and it went really smooth. The people there are very welcoming and kept me occupied through the whole tattoo. This was my first time in Maui and it was very special, thank you.

Super friendly arist, tragus piercing was $65. Shop seemed clean and it wasn't too busy. Not a huge selection of jewelry. Edit from my previous 4 star review which was rather rudely disputed by the artist: A 4 star review turned out to be too generous for this shop. The jewelry they used irritated my tragus so severely that I had to have the piercing changed within weeks of having it done- not ideal for a fresh cartilage piercing. Upon inspecting my ear and the huge, sore blister forming on the site, my home artist confirmed that the jewelry used for my piercing was extremely low quality and likely causing the infection I was experiencing. I certainly didn't expect such a rude artist response to a review that ended up being inaccurately positive to begin with. Please pay attention to the attitude of this artist- you can tell alot from the way she interacts on this page!

Jerry squeezed my boyfriend and I for a set of matching tats. He understood what we wanted. Made a nice drawing for us and did a great job with the details. Awesome people. Great looking tats. Will certainly come back. Everyone there was super nice.

Edit: Added a photo of both of our tattoos after healing. Beautiful as ever! Got fabulous tattoos to commemorate our trip to Maui. Will definitely go back to this shop when we return. It's a small but mighty plumeria and turned out GORGEOUS!! Thanks so much, Jerry!! And Stacey!
