I had Reyn tattoo a small Japanese kanji on my left hand and even while it was healing, after I left the shop, I could tell there were blank spots and parts where he went outside the border lines. It seems Reyn tried to rush through my tattoo to get to the next person and he ended up giving me a tattoo that anyone could’ve given me with the same quality. I was excited to get a tattoo while visiting hawaii but with this experience I won’t be doing walk-in tattoos ever again.

Legit friendly atmosphere I came in with a couple of ideas and Reyn helped me complete it. I could not have had a better experience while getting tattooed. He was knowledgeable about the island and was part of the community around him. Truly an artist and if you go you will see what I mean. Thank you for the experience and I truly do love my tattoo.

I scheduled my first tattoo with Reyn and it was an incredible experience. I'd been wanting a tattoo for years, but could never decide on something. I realized that my desire to have tattoos was greater than my desire to have it be the perfect piece of art. I chose something that I really liked, and Reyn's consultation was excellent. The process of actually being tattooed was really comfortable. He encouraged me to breathe, offered a fan, supplied water, and he really payed attention to my psychological reaction as well as my physical reactions. I tried to remain calm and relaxed, but my arm was involuntarily clenching from the sensation. Reyn kept calm and dilligent, informing me of each step of the process. His demeanor and confidence kept me calm and at peace. I wouldn't say that it was painful, I'd say instead that it was sensational. Reyn gave me expert advice in aftercare and it's healing beautifully. The final product was clearly skillfully done, and it looks better than I imagined. I really felt welcomed and comfortable for the time I spent in their business. Thank you very much Reyn, and Laurie for making my first tattoo a memorable and enjoyable experience. I look forward to visiting you again next time I'm in Hawaii. Mahalo! (Side note: My phone fell out of my pocket in the street in Pahoa. I went back with my friend about 45 minutes later, and somebody had picked it up and placed it on the wooden walkway for me. This act of common decency and humanity was truly inspirational. Whoever that was, you enabled me to make it home and share my photographs with my famy.)

Yo, I love this shop! Reyn is great and the quality of his work is off the hook! The art they sell is also amazing. This is my spot in HI for sure, respect! *Appended* I am posting pictures of my second trip as well. I had a bear on my forearm that was just mud, I turned it over to Reyn, and viola! walking into the shop, it was the shadow of a bear. You can see the before and after. (On the before pic there is some fine marker that reyn had sketched over the piece with). Whenever I am on island, you will find me under Reyn's gun. He is amazing!

Yes...The legends are all true...Electric Jungle is a total experience...I had an appointment with Reyn to get a tattoo...the town and the shop are part of an artistic culture that has a amazing look and feel to it..everyone at the shop were pleasant, fun and professional all at the same time... Reyn did my tattoo work and as he worked on it I could tell how much he cares about the art.. Electric Jungle is a great place to get art on yourself and you will walk away with a smile knowing it was 110 percent worth your time... I thought that I had all the tattoos I wanted...but after my experience at Electric Jungle and Reyn's great work...I am starting to design my next tattoo for him to do...

This place has a nice vibe to it. All these really cool art right when you walk in the door. Bright colors on the outside with a really nice tattoo sign out front. The front was really helpful when I had questions about my tattoo. Her name was kait if I remember correctly. I had to fill out a form and got to talk to the artists that work there. After I talked with them for a little bit,I got to feel out the artists and their work. Both amazing artists. Definitely worth checking out. 🙌🤘🏻

"Goes on paper, Goes on Skin" go see Reyn! Extremely skilled, ever-evolving artist who intuitively has better feel when you sit with him. It's more of a ceremony of personal evolution and transformational upgrades compared to any other shop that seems like many artist will see you as a paycheck... Reyn is not like that. He is a true artist that loves to work with any canvas including the human body. I'm sure you will be extremely pleased with the whole experience. Do it.
