Went to get some earrings today, it seemed the sale that was going on was confusing for the customer before me and myself. Even though the sign said "absolutely everything", most of the sale excluded a lot of different items. After seeing the customer in front of me leave quite rudely, I tried to be nice to the four workers. None of the workers were nice or helpful and even started taking the signs down while I was purchasing my items, it was only 3 in the afternoon... I wasn't rude at all, and even made a comment about the lady in front of me being rude. I've never gone into our Claire's and had such a horrible experience. I felt uncomfortable and like I just annoyed all the employees. I'm not sure if they had been dealing with the annoying sale all day or if it was that they were all just in a horrible mood.

Really unhelpful employees. There were 3 adults behind the counter, but only got 1 to even acknowledge me eventually. They all seemed high, but I’m not super confident on that. Then they wouldn’t redeem my membership points, so I left without purchasing anything. Probably will not be coming back to this location.

Is it normal for the Chubbuck location to be closed at 2 in the afternoon on a Sunday when the rest of the mall is open? The gate was down and there was no one in the store. This doesn't seem normal, and extremely unprofessional.

This Claire's is probably one of the worst ones I have ever been too. They have horrible management when it comes to dealing, and resolving issues in the store. To add to that, the employees are not certified nor trained enough to be doing body modifications in their store! Especially with the piercing guns. There are sooo many issues with getting your ears peirced with those things, especially when it's on a little kid. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE TO GET THEIR EARS PEIRCED. All of the makeup for children is also not healthy to be used on their skin. Especially sensitive skin, when I was little and got makeup from here, I got a really bad chemical burn from one of the lip glass kits. When I've been in there previously, they still had them on the shelf with the same chemicals that caused the burn/severe irritation. It's not a good place to get makeup from nor piercings! I made the mistake of getting my cartilage pierced here when I was a younger teenager and they pierced them SOOO unevenly. That was the last time I went to clairs. I had trust in them once and it was gone immediately once I got home and saw how uneven they were in the back. Mind you, they did this with the piercing gun!! After I educated myself with proper body modifications, I realized how horrible the guns are for piercing. It makes for a much more difficult healing process! Don't support this store here at all! The customer service is horrible, especially from management when discussing these issues! They don't ever make changes!! 0/5 review. This store shouldn't even be open anymore.

Went in to get our daughters ears pierced.. got there at 615 it was supposed to close at 7... she agreed to doing it but then said I needed cash because the card readers were down.. we went to the ATM pulled cash went back and she had the store locked up at 625 I won't be back!

Britney and Emily did a phenomenal job when they were piercing my 3 year old and 6 month old's ears. They were good with the kids and took extra time to make sure they came out even. Highly recommend.

Can I give it zero? Took my 8 year old in to get her ears pierced for her birthday today. Store closed at 6PM, walked in at 5:30pm and the worker said she wouldn't do it. Tried to blame it on some company policy then COVID. Was extremely rude. Thanks for ruining a birthday.

I've worked retail before, I get sometimes people are busy doing things in the store and they get distracted by work. That was not the case today however, I walked in they said hello and that was that. Didnt ask if I need help with anything or if they could help me find something. They continued to talk together about one girls boyfriend. I was in there for probably 10 minutes before one girl came over and actually asked if I was finding everything alright. Didnt seem like she wanted to help me. Wont be going back.

Never get your ears pierced there. They usually dont know what they are doing. When I whent there I told them where I whanted it and they put it in the completely different place. Like not near where I said but very far from it. After the lady had to pull on the gun WITH MY EAR STUCK TO IT and it made my ear bleed a lot

Never have I had such a horrible experience with a store clerk. I am someone who has worked retail and understands completely that the customer isn’t always right. However, Melina was rude and pushy. I first expressed no thank you to the additional “deals of the day” she persisted. When I explained to her that I didn’t appreciate her up-sell tactics (as I was just trying to leave the store with my crying toddler and very much in a hurry) she had the nerve to call me rude. Mind you this week s after first walking into the store and being ignored by her as she was on her cellphone taking private calls. Finally she’s off the phone and then asking where the clip on earrings were for my 6 year old and being told that clip on earrings were stupid and I should really just have Melina pierce her ears for me. Umm no thank you again. I don’t think anyone should push that with a parent especially with the child present.

Spent $10 on a toddler make up set for my 3 year old that made her break out all over. There was only one clerk who was piercing ears at the time (that's fine, I can wait awhile) but the kid had a melt down and didn't want to get her second ear pierced so we ended up waiting forever to buy the cheap Chinese makeup. A lot of their stuff has talc in it, which is a known carcinogen at this point. I'd expect a semi expensive store that catered to our children to be a little more responsible. Sure, I should have checked the makeup out more before I bought it but it's not like this stuff came from the dollar store. Went right in the trash the next day.
