Rikki did my tattoo. I was a walk in and she took me first thing in the morning. It was my first tattoo. She was kind, welcoming and comforting and she was right, it didn't hurt at all. She did beautiful work. She matched the mage I provided her perfectly but also helped use her professional opinion. My friend also got a tattoo and was also a walk in at the same time. The artist who did hers was also very welcoming and accomodating. I highly recommend Burn the Boats for your next tattoo. It is a very clean, professional, welcoming atomophere filled with comforting nostalgia .

Excellent experience from start to finish. From the time I first reached out to Ryan via email to the moment I walked out with my new tattoo, it was all very easy and professional. Ryan communicated very well and was very invested in coming up with a design I wanted. His drawing was almost exactly how I pictured it in my head. He was very easy to sit for and I was thrilled with the final result. I would recommend Ryan to anybody. The shop is an experience in itself, like a museum of the 80s. I could stay there all day just checking out the cool memorabilia on the walls. They have movies going on a projector which makes the sessions go by much easier. They also use quality materials and take tattoo aftercare very seriously. I’ll definitely go there for my next tattoo.

Take a second to read this…. I had a tattoo worked on 3 times at a different tattoo place. After the 3rd time the artist told me he couldn’t do anything more with my tattoo. I let it heal and almost in tears with something permanent, I decided to go into Burn the Boats. The artist reassured me that he could fix my tattoo. I waited a little longer and decided to trust him. The best thing I ever did!!! My tattoo came out so awesome and I’m proud to show it off now. Whether you are a first time seeker for a tattoo, or already have tattoos and want more, or you need a tattoo touched up or fixed, do not waste your time searching around. This is the place. They are trustworthy, professional and no their stuff!!! I don’t write reviews, but with something do permanent and being that I felt that I had an ugly duckling tattoo that turned into a swan because of Burn the Boats, I wanted to take the time and let others know my experience. You will be extremely happy!!!!

Had some initial issues with the tattoo after healing. EDIT: I texted Mike like he responded in my review and he was very nice. He asked me to come in person to talk about options and I did. He went over everything we could do to fix it. I decided on an option and then he did it. He told me its possible it wont completely cover it and that if that happens I could come back in again. Him and the tattoo artist that did the tattoo looked at the pictures after my tattoo was done and said they didn't realize and it was hard to notice until after it healed. Mike has very good customer service skills and PR skills. I have autism so this whole experience was awful and awkward for me and stressed me out so much but he was very good at helping. Thanks Mike.

I have been tattooed by 3 different artists and they all do amazing work! I love all my tattoos I have gotten at Burn the Boats! Queenie Li did my mom memory tattoo and it is perfect! The coloring the lines are amazing! Won’t go anywhere else. She also made a tattoo I hated and wished it was gone to a tattoo I will be ok with! They are a must try if you are thinking about a tattoo.
