I came to Bitterroot Tattoo with a vague idea of what I wanted. After sharing some references and discussion with Nick, he sat down and in less than 30 minutes had the design down pat. One word of warning, I was undercharged for the work done. I would say tip 20% on work done. The studio is clean, the people friendly, and work is fantastic. I'll take my next concept to them as well.

I have gotten two, soon to be three, tattoos done by Jake here. He is absolutely incredible!! I can’t even count the amount of compliments I get on the ones he has done, they are 100% my favorites by far. He is super nice and cares about how his clients are feeling and things like that. Prices are absolutely reasonable and great as well! The studio itself is by far the nicest studio I’ve been in. I love how it has an opposite vibe (in a good way) from a lot of other ones I’ve been to. They smoke in the other ones I’ve been in, have pictures of naked women all over, play extremelyyy loud metal music, etc. Definitely not here!! I will absolutely keep coming here and recommend it to everyone!!

It does take a while to get an appointment but that speaks to their work and how popular it is. They are committed to the community and work hard to support other local businesses and non-profits. I wish I could give zero stars. This establishment has two abusers on staff, one which is still chosen to tattoo for fundraisers against domestic violence. I don’t recommend this place at all.

I changed the font and sizing of letters multiple times and each time Keiffer made sure that I got what I was asking for by guiding me through the designing and tattooing process.
