After seeing the high quality of work done by the artists at A Thin Line Tattoo and seeing great reviews and photos, I decided to have Lauren for my most recent tattoo, and I’m so glad I did! I was really excited for this design as it’s one that will always make me smile, and she did such a great job bringing it to fruition and making any adjustments to the initial sketch that I requested. Thank you so much Susie!! I am in love with my new tattoo! This tattoo was very special to me, in memory of my dearly departed father who passed away Feb, 2022. I was so nervous, I am not a person who has tattoos. Susie did a fabulous job with me. She made my experience comfortable, memorable and fun! She captured what I wanted. I gave her a note that my dad hand-wrote me 12 years ago, and I told her my dad was a cowboy, she said "give me a few minutes to come up with something". She was amazing! She took time and care, she made any changes, and moved the stencil around as many times as I wanted before we actually inked it forever. I love it!!! I am so pleased with how it turned out. If I ever want another tattoo I'm definitely calling Susie! ~My son and my daughter also went to different artists @ A thin Line in Batavia, IL on the same day as me. ALL of our experiences were the same! And all of our new "ink" is awesome!!! We are all happy and would/will definitely go back. Everyone there was great, and very friendly! If it is your first tattoo, or your 50th, they will make it a great experience. They will do an amazing job! The atmosphere is awesome. It's clean. I would highly recommend !

Updated review: their phone never works, I try to call back for confirmation and it rings until it hangs up on me, doesn't matter when I try to call... otherwise my review still stands.... They have some of the best local artist at the shop. It can be difficult to book an appointment with some of the artist though. You might need to plan several months to a year in advance with some. Your patience will be well rewarded. Their roster is growing with really talented artists. Been getting worked on here for over a year.
