I've had five tattoos done by John at Red Moon - the most recent nearly four months ago. Each appointment, the space itself has been welcoming, clean, and clearly set up to place the client at ease. John does a great job explaining what he's doing during tattoo sessions while consistently checking in to make sure that everything is going well. As far as the work, I've been complimented about the line work, coloring, and overall designs of John's work. Even my most recent piece - the most colorful of the five - is still as bright and vivid as it was when I walked out of the studio. I'm grateful that this studio is so close to where I live - John's pricing is reasonable, his work is excellent, and the studio space is more than accommodating. Definitely stop in to chat about your tattoo ideas.

John has done every tattoo I have, he’s been a real solid artist from my first piece for my friend that passed away when I was 18 to the last piece I got from him which he also knocked out of the park on my forearm. All That said I’ve been getting permanent artwork from John for over a decade and now live out of state and still come into town to get work done by HIM only RED MOON TATTOO! 10/10 I always recommend!

Been here several times between my husband and I, and we don’t have a single complaint. Shops clean, quality is great, and he doesn’t price gouge! Also, he is very meticulous and does his best to ensure you’re happy with everything before he even starts. Both of my tattoos have been of my kids feet and names, straight from the hospital stamps! The detail on both are spot-on, and they’ve healed great. My oldest I’ve had for six years now, and still has detail like it did on day 1. It’s safe to say we’ll be back in the future, hopefully soon!
