Logan Square Tattoo

I recently got a tattoo here from Jeremy. As I was telling him, a big part of a tattoo for me is the experience and he made it an enjoyable experience. He had a laid back, empathetic, and joke around style which made interactions easy. The vibe of the shop is chill and the other artists there were cool and welcoming when I checked in a bit early to confirm and throughout. Since I was a bit early, and totally new to the area, (came in from WI) I wandered around and ate at The Whale up the street. I’d highly recommend that place, too and the vegan pulled pork sandwich was legit. Came back and sorted out the sizing, placement, and other specifics. Jeremy even let me get emo for a minute about all my life issues that precipitated me needing some tattoo therapy. Once the needle hit the skin he worked pretty quickly and out came a very good portrait of my multepoo pooch, Maggie. High fived and on my way out got a cherry lambic ale from the boutique liquor store in the adjacent building. Then ubered back to the hotel. I’m sure I’ll be back for more work. Overall 10/10 tattoo experience and outcome, would recommend.

I booked an appointment with Gifford, the owner, for my first tattoo and had nothing but a great experience from start to finish! I had a general idea and concept but wasn't sure exactly what to expect - he did a great job answering all my questions and walking me through the process during the consultation. His design ended up being way better than anything that I had in my head - his artistic talent is amazing. I wanted to go big for my first one and was incredibly nervous, but Gifford went out of his way to make me as comfortable as possible - even bringing out a space heater when I got cold during my coloring session without me asking. I never felt like I was an inconvenience. I was always encouraged to speak up if I needed to, but I rarely had to - Gifford was clearly in tune with how I was doing and genuinely seems to value a positive client experience. All the other artists I interacted with were also incredibly kind and supportive, the art on the walls was cool to look at, and the music was great. The ambiance was really calming, positive, and bright. It was obvious that everyone else - client and artist - was treated with the same level of respect that I was. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Excited for my next one!

Do you want a tattoo made by the descendent ancient disciples of the Helen Keller and Stevie Wonder School of Tattoo and Bodily Arts? Then look no further. This place has everything. Laughable talent at an even more laughable price. There may be talent in those walls- but we didn't find it. Thomas Christopher, and for that matter the owner as well, produce scratcher work at high end prices. The young neighborhood has fueled their absolutely delusional concept of how tattoos should work. If you want quality at a reasonable price- find yourself another shop. 10/10 for the floor manager who adeptly handled my poor attitude at the awful service- at least there's that. Please, for the sake of your sanity avoid places that are blind to poor work for the sake of saving face. Tattoo was -over worked -crooked -uneven -over priced -unfinished (which is wild considering it was less than 4 inches) 15 minutes of tattooing for 350 dollars- what a deal ! With love, Saturn

I have gotten three pieces from two different artists at this location and have never been disappointed. Carlos, who worked on the keyblades, has (probably) the softest hands in the business and some seriously great talent with minor details and line-work. The leg piece was done by guest artist @el.moyz on Instagram when he was in Chicago, and I could not count myself more lucky for getting to work with him. Aside from great works, they have great conversations that normally involve the other artists chiming in and sharing a good laugh or two. Lst has a barber shop feel unique to really good parlors. Never thought I'd have a reoccurring parlor I'd visit, but I'm happy to say Logan Square Tattoo is claiming that title. Can't wait to come back for my next piece!

Just got done receiving a couple tattoos from a visiting artist and wanted to review the shop because I was so impressed with the cleanliness and professionalism of the entire staff. I was happy to see the shop maintaining a mask policy, and everyone complying without any issue. Will be back to get more art done!

I came from Indiana to get tattooed by Gifford. I gave him artistic freedom and couldn't be more happy with what he came up with. The design fit perfectly with what I already had on my arm and Gifford was super nice through the whole process. The shop is extremely clean and the vibe was chill. I would definitely go to LST again.

Got my very first tattoo here and I couldn't be more pleased!!! This beautiful butterfly was tatted by the lovely Travis and he did such a great job!! It's cute af. I am very particular and we spent 30 minutes going back and forth making sure the size, design and placement were all perfect. I'm so appreciative that he really took the time with me to make sure my tattoo was perfect for me! Will totally come here again if I decide someday to get another tattoo. Come see Travis!!

I saw Jeremy here to get a birthday tattoo and he made this an incredible experience. His work is stunning and his demeanor puts anyone at ease. I’m so completely in love with my new garlic plant tattoo and can’t wait to get my next one from Jeremy.

The place is small and welcoming, the artists are all unique and do great work for a fair price. Have gotten three small pieces done here and they all came out amazing. Should definitely check on their Instagram for more info.

They helped get a same day Tatoo when out Kitty passed and Elliot is amazing. Paw print looks stellar.

I came to Logan Square Tattoo for my very first tattoo. Jeremy Golden was my artist and did an AMAZING job! He was great about letting me know what to expect and eased my "first tattoo" nerves. I asked for a ginkgo leaf and the final artwork was exactly what I hoped and more. The shop was clean, the people were nice, and I'll definitely be back!

Great studio and a great tattoo! Speck was only working out of here temporarily, she's usually at Evoke, but I'm very happy with the work I got!

Logan Square Tattoo was clean and professional. I went to Kae for a fine line tattoo and it is absolutely beautiful. She was easy going, professional, and made me very comfortable. I will hands down go to her again!
