Trent and Erica are phenomenal artists and able to use so many different artistic abilities to create amazing work. Trent took on a sleeve in progress of mine and was able to elevate it beyond what I had imagined! One of, if not, the cleanest and most professionally ran tattoo shops in town.

Came here for my first tattoo hoping for a good experience and quality tattoo. I gave the artist my original idea and they disagreed with it and made me change it completely instead of working with me to design one based off the original concept. And the one we did end up choosing, they changed completely and only showed me one prior photo of a “rough draft” despite the fact I was told I would be communicated back and forth with. I was good with what we chose but I was not good with the result. Not even a week after getting the tattoo and doing all the proper treatments I was informed of, the tattoo started fading. And not just fading but also ink spread to where it wasn’t meant to be. But what bothers me most is how bad it faded and how low the quality of the work is. Some lines are thick and some are thin and the lines themselves are wavy. My skin shows through the ink and it just looks bad. There are full parts of the tattoo missing now. I don’t plan on coming back and I have to spend money to fix their mistake. Other than the work, the artists are friendly and the place is generally clean.

Trent did my tattoo and was absolutely wonderful. The entire time I was in the chair he made sure I was comfortable. Erica was working on another client while I was there and they just made it feel like a casual hangout. I will definitely be back as soon as I can!

Have just seen the work. Simply Amazing artists!!! Definitely will probably get one of my own designs done there eventually.

I went here for my first tattoo ever and had a great experience!! Both Trent and Erica did an amazing job on the artwork and with helping me through the process! The studio was also really clean. I will absolutely be going back!

This was my first visit, and I WILL be back. Great, personable staff, skilled artists, they communicate well with the clientele, there's plenty to look at to keep your eyes busy while you sit for your ink, and not to mention my kickass tattoo!

Was not open when earlier in the day we called and the lady said they would be.

By far the best place to go. I drive 4 hours for these two!!!!

My tattoo turned out great Trent did a great job and dealt with my complaining lol. It was painful but an awesome experience Thanks guys!!

Trent has done a few of my tattoos and drawn up some artwork for me and everything is amazing. He has a wonderful eye for details and really listened to me and gave his opinion of what would look best and where would be the best placement so that I would be the happiest. I just wish they were still in Maine so I could get some tattoos. Maine lost some excellent artists when Trent and Erica moved, but Illinois hit the jackpot with them. Hands down the best artist I've ever been to and it's going to hard as hell to find someone that does that caliber of work.

I’ve had multiple pieces done here and have never been disappointed. Great work and great people. You actually feel welcome and cared about here instead of having someone bang out your piece just for the money. Highly recommended!

Trent did an amazing Norse chest piece, lots of fine line work. I’m a quadriplegic and spasm a lot. Trent was patient and worked with the spasms. Very friendly, an amazing artist and does very good quality work. Would and do highly recommend Poke and a rub art studio for your quality tattoo needs.

They do amazing work!!...and the fact that they are great people are a bonus! My tattoo took three hours several years ago and it still looks great! :)

I’ve had a great experience with Erica. She is creative and fun to wok with. I absolutely love the work she’s done. Both she and Trent listen and to make sure their clients get just what they want. Great place!

Very friendly and lovely work. They won't give you a tattoo that you don't like. They will design it until you are happy with the image before even sitting down to get the work done. Very professional and clean. I would definitely go back here again and I would recommend to everyone. Plus, all products are vegan!

I've known both trent and erica for yrs and they have done 90% of my ink and i highly recommend them if you want nice ink from nice people!
