Pete did my tattoo a few years ago. I’m in the navy and scheduled it around my leave. He did a tarot card and the line work was horrible. It took an hour and ten and he charged me for a full two hours. He talked about some very uncomfortable stuff (kind of creepy the way he talked, I remember him talking about women he found attractive and them being provocative) and accused me of drinking the night before (I was 18) because I was bleeding and was said it was annoying that I was bleeding so much. I also wanted the tattoo smaller but he told me he couldn’t do smaller, it’s fairly larger than a normal playing card. As I get more tattoos I realize just how terrible this experience was. This tattoo meant a lot to me so for him to be so disrespectful, over charge, and to do a bad job on the outline just hurts me. If he wasn’t interested in my tattoo or didn’t wanna do it because it’s not his style, he should’ve told me. Would not recommend this place if you’re a young girl, especially if you’re by yourself like I was.

Based on reviews alone, I decided to give this place a try and boy was I glad I did. From the first time I walked in I was impressed. The warm welcome and cleanliness definitely got my attention. Scheduling was easy and I felt comfortable knowing I'd be in good hands. Fast forward to my appointment, and Brandon did an excellent job. He listened, and executed an amazing tribute tattoo to my grandpa. I would definitely recommend him and hope to be back soon for more work. Great job Brandon and staff at For Life Tattoo Studio.
