I have been wanting to get an industrial for the past two years. Glad I did it here, my coworker had her helix pierced and recommended I come to Evil Genius. The piercer is Alyssa. She is absolutely AMAZING and extremely knowledgeable. She talked me through each and every step before she did it. The piercing went smoothly and the atmosphere she created was great. Definitely will be back in the near future. 10/10 👍🏾

i went here to get my ears pierced by alyssa. she was super friendly. when she was doing the piercing, she walked me through everything she was doing step-by-step. she clearly takes a lot of pride in her work and is very thoughtful, even about simple piercings like mine were. i'm in love with the result. i'm not an expert on this stuff, but the pricing seemed more than reasonable to me. also, this place was cleaner than a doctor's office

I got my first tattoo in March and traveled all the way from NYC because the reviews and art work were so good. The manager and artist both said that I have a yr of free touch ups. I got a small tattoo and didn’t think I would need it. However once that tattoo started healing the ink faded. Six months later I try to schedule a touchup and the manager basically said that if I wanted to get a touchup that he would charge me for. I called and he was extremely nasty to me and didn’t try to come up with a solution. I regret going there and I will be speaking to lawyers about that corrupt business policy.

The tattoo artist misunderstood me when I said what I wanted. I should have questioned the coloring then and there, but I had no idea that it wasn’t colored because when I looked at the picture it had a blue tint to it. I thought it would get darker. And when I came back to get it fixed she was totally rude, hateful and actually more or less said if I didn’t like it leave!!! Wanted to charge me almost the same amount as the first time. $315.00 for a butterfly tattoo the size of a half dollar. Whatever happened to the customer is right. This whole situation has made getting my first tattoo a bad experience.

I cannot recommend Evil Genius enough for your piercing needs! I got my nose pierced in September, and everyone there was extremely professional and welcoming. I was a little nervous, but Charly, the piercer, made me feel very, very comfortable. She explained every step before she did it, and made sure I was ready. I was well taken care of, and they'll have my business for future piercings and tattoos. 8/2/2022: Coming back to edit my review as I've now gotten three tattoos here, all from Flip. He is an excellent, excellent artist and I could not recommend him more! He is extremely talented and passionate, and I truly have the best tattoo experiences with him. Evil Genius as a whole is an awesome place; I will continue to return for future ink endeavors. Thank you for creating such a cool environment with an artist like Flip, EG!

Evil Genius is fabulous! It’s impeccably clean and the art and vibe are engaging. Everyone working here is personable and helpful; I believe they make each customer feel valued. Alyssa changed out my nose piercing jewelry and gave me useful information about future piercings and jewelry. She’s knowledgeable and easy to talk with. She also has some unique, gorgeous, high quality jewelry to choose from. Flip inked two small tattoos for me and honestly it was one of the best tattoo experiences I’ve had. He’s talented, no-nonsense, considerate, and interesting. I’ll definitely be returning for more art from Flip. My tattoos look fantastic and they healed up like a charm. And while the name of the fella who manages the appointments/front desk is escaping me….he, too, is wonderful! Super friendly and helpful. So I originally took my initial post down, but having gone to another shop, I learned that their piercer was just looking for money. She was not professional enough to just tell me no, this will be way to small for your nose. She just did it. I wouldn’t recommend going here for any type of piercing!

I've been to Evil Genius three times now and each time has been perfect! The first time was for two piercings with Charly, the second time was to get a downsizing with Sam, and then the third time was my first tattoo with Flip! Each time everyone was professional, fun, inviting, and thorough. I left each time with a clear understanding on how to care for my piercings and jewelry and how to care for my new tattoo. In my opinion pricing is fair as well, especially since (from my experience) everyone knows what they are doing and makes the effort to ensure things are done correctly. Definitely my go-to shop from now on for future tattoos and piercings.
