There is not enough that I can say about how amazing and talented Kate is. She takes the time to listen and help create the best piece and placement. Her fine line work is perfection. New piece, reworking bad pieces from long ago, or personal pieces she is my girl forever. And as a person you won't find a bigger heart of gold. We've come a long way baby! Love ya girl.

The Shop- The Valparaiso Tattoo Collective was clean, bright, modern and open; not closed and stuffy like other shops I’ve been in. The color scheme and materials used to decorate the inside gave confidence that the shop and its employees are all class. They had fast WiFi, good music, and the temperature was perfect. Getting a tattoo can take a decent amount of time and the comfort level in this building made it easy. My overall experience was complete and total satisfaction. If you are considering a tattoo, you will not be disappointed going there! The Artist- I had a noon appointment with Lex, who is a total professional, and everything was on-time. Right away, Lex and I discussed my tattoo that he put together from several ideas I shared earlier. I was pretty specific on what I wanted and Lex’s final version was perfect and needed no adjustments. My tattoo was on the larger side with quite a bit of detail. Lex did it all in one sitting. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome of my new tattoo; it was even better than I hoped it would be (Thanks again Lex!). Everyone I’ve showed it to loves it and wants to know where I got it done. I tell them, “Valparaiso Tattoo Collective.”

I’ve gotten two pieces from kate and have another appointment setup and plan on having many more. The staff are all very friendly and very experienced. The shop is also very clean and welcoming.

Absolutely fantastic establishment. Very efficient staff. Each artist makes you feel comfortable and puts no pressure on you. They actually work with you. The high standard that this shop works on should be the standard of tattooing for everyone.

Kate is great! I've had 3 cover ups done by here & each time she was very professional! I felt like I was in a therapy session, for as much as I opened up & told her. I will most definitely use her in the future for more tattoos. I would recommend her time & time again!
