5 stars is not enough. I have been going to Robbie for 15 years and he has never disappointed. I've gone a year without getting a tattoo but as soon as I step in the shop its like I was there the day before. He is so welcoming and just makes you feel like a friend. Robbie's a great guy & a great artist! I made an appointment with him after seeing his work on one of my friends who's gone to him for the last 3 years for their tattoos. He has years of experience & worked in Des Moines/Ankeny before opening his one-man-ran shop in Collins. I came in not really knowing what I wanted & he was more than happy to work with me through multiple sketches before I decided on one. He made me feel comfortable making suggestions as we went & made changes accordingly. He's a funny dude, with plenty of stories to tell. My tattoo has healed perfectly. No one knows it's a cover-up unless they remember my tattoo from before. Even then, no one remembers what it was before because they're so impressed with the flawless blending & shading. You'll leave the shop happy with your tattoo & a little wiser than you were before you came in.
