Tattoo Charlie's Preston Hwy.

All but two of my tattoos are from this place (I have 17). Darren is currently working on my left arm over time and can't recommend him enough. But I would trust anyone there. There's a reason they have been around for so long.

Excellent service, very professional, good prices, clean environment, friendly greeting. Got my ears pierced and it was a very pleasant experience. I plan on calling soon to add on to my current tattoo. Their work is truly magnificent. Piercing healed very well and looks beautiful. Would highly recommend. Edit to review: I highly recommend making appointments on their site. It's fast and very simple. If you call, they may not be able to answer. By the look of their reviews they are a very popular and busy tattoo studio and may all be busy with customers. When I made an appointment and came in the gentleman answered all of my questions and he was very kind and knowledgeable.

I got my septum pierced by Jess and I highly recommend them! They explained every single step of the process in detail which helped me feel really comfortable.

They ALL were very professional, educated, and welcoming! I had alot of questions and they answered them without me feeling dumb. I walked in and made an appointment with Luitt and he was amazing, I would definitely refer anyone to him, he's a great tattoo artist and very professional! I will be goin back there to get all my tattoos and piercings!

Didn't caught our tattoo artist name but I think he was the Mexican but oh my gosh I loved his art his attitude and dedication to getting it done and making it look perfect just what I asked for n more great price too and how he treats his client I'm glad we choose this place thank you 😌

What can be said of Tattoo Charlies?!? This is a Louisville icon and in the 30÷ years since I got my first ink by the legend himself, Tattoo Charlie, (only weeks before he retired from his craft) the company that bears his namesake has set the bar for other shops in Kentuckiana. Though the original shop on Berry Blvd has closed they have expanded to operate a few other locations with standards and quality that mirrors the original, hiring only the best, most accomplished artists. Whether you want a tiny, obscure bluebird or a full sleeve of mystic imagination, having your ink done here makes it a little less likely that you'll regret 20 years later, getting inked up. A shout out to those fine artists that have carried on the tradition of Tattoo Charlie's. Thanks to all of you, from myself and the entire city of Louisville

Jess was so nice, so helpful and I felt really comfortable with her. Make sure you make an appointment online, it’s super easy to do (I wish all businesses had this option). Because of the appt I had plenty of time to look at all the jewelry- they have the best selection I’ve seen. It took me quite a while to decide on what I wanted but Jess never rushed me and gave me good suggestions. I appreciated how she told me exactly what to expect before piercing me. I will definitely be back.

I’ve had multiple tattoos done at this location, recently I had one done by Louit and he is incredible! The man is a gifted artist and an incredible tattoo artist! Go see him and show him some love, it will be worth it!

Stephen was fantastic. We got matching tattoos and he did exactly what we wanted, with careful consideration to sizing based on detail to keep it looking great years to come.

I have been trying to call since Saturday to get an appointment : The answering machine states Friday the 13th and that they will not be answering calls nor is the voicemail system monitored. I’ve used this location in the past for all of my piercing needs but now I’m not so sure about working with them in the future.

The guy at the front desk really make the atmosphere really fun .guy with beard . Justin is the best tattoo artist ❤

Took my daughter and her friend to get tattoos my daughter drew of their pets. The place was very clean and the staff very nice! Its about an hour from where i live but when I decide what tattoo I want to get I'm definitely going here!
