I cannot express enough how awesome my experience here was. Such a lovely atmosphere and I felt so comfortable. The quality of the tattoo is hands down some of the cleanest line work I’ve ever had done. The tattoo artist was so easy to talk to as well, I wish I had a bigger platform to recommend her to everyone on!!

In the Mirror Tattoo Company is such a clean, well decorated and inviting atmosphere. The shop location is very conveniently located and private just fabulous overall setting. Now Shelby... Shelby is FANTASIC, she a true artist and her tattoo work reflects that. She puts so much time and energy into each piece (I currently have 3 by her and have plans more more already!) She is wonderful about talking through adjustments and placement, and cares about giving you a piece that is custom for you. She is so easy to talk to and I found that 3 hours felt like no time passed at all when we were working on my last piece. I truly trust her ideas for my tattoos and have faith in her artistic abilities when we talk about new ideas or techniques that could make the tattoo stand out amongst others. She is booked a few months out, and the wait is well worth it every single time! I could write paragraphs about how kind and down to earth Shelby is but simply her passion and talent for her work are going to take her places!

When getting a tattoo done by Shelby, you can tell that she was born a TRUE artist. She is so passionate about EVERY piece of artwork, as any artist should be. Furthermore, she will not reproduce someone's artwork (like if you want one done same as a friend got) but she will take that design and put her own artistic talents to work and apply her own spin on it, to your liking! (No worries about someone copying your own design, either!) She currently does not do walk-ins and she is usually booked out a few months in advance, but is SO worth the wait! Get in contact with her and see for yourself (keeping in mind that it might take her a few days to get back to you)! This is art that will be displayed on your body for the rest of your life, so make sure you go to a true artist, someone you can trust 100%!

If you want a truly unique-to-you design in a space that is clean, calm, and welcoming, this is the tattoo company you’ve been looking for. I’ve had three pieces done by the owner, Shelby, and I don’t plan on going to any other shop or artist. Shelby is such a passionate artist and you can tell she cares deeply about your satisfaction and the fine quality of her work. The shop is easy to find and not far at all from Newport. Definitely recommend.
