i went to give this place a try on my birthday because i was in the portland area. Whoever the girl is, pierced my nipple diagonally up. i now have to take it out and pay to get it repierced. don’t be a piercer if you’re unable to be precise every time. just seems like they’re pushing people through the system to get as much $$ as possible.

Steve is awesome! I walked in and he took me no problem. His line work and art work on the wall is beautiful. *chefs kiss* He did exactly what I wanted. He drew something up right away and didnt complain about each little change I wanted to make. My tattoo couldnt have come out any more perfect. Thank you Steve!!! :)

Quick, professional & nice! I was nervous, being my first time. He did it in like 2mins, no lie. We talked for about 10 mins, just jabbing. Nice experience!

She was amazing! Very professional and accommodating, in and out in 15 minutes. Offered free replacement even if I didn’t purchase product there which I will absolutely take advantage of!

My mom died in July and the 3 kids and my dad all went in last week to get the same tat that mom had. Tribute to an amazing woman. Anyway, Steve was our guy. And he was excellent. Very understanding. Great location too. We all celebrated next door at Samuel’s during and afterwards. 🍻

I go to Almost Famous for all my piercings, it's the only shop I feel safe/ clean to pierce my body. I got my septum, bridge, and nipples done here and bring my friends as well. Most of the costs cover the initial jewelry as well, no separate fee. $45-65 is super cheap for a clean, healed, straight piercing. They're quick, but usually first come first serve or appointment. All their piercers are quick and professional in a kickbutt way!

Steve did an incredible job on my tattoo! so kind and willing to work with you on what you want. everyone in the shop was very nice and it was a fun, calm environment. will be going back for more tattoos for sure!!!

On a whim I decided to get my nose pierced yesterday! Zasu, the piercer, was so nice and professional! She really made me feel comfortable and explained the healing process in detail. I would recommend Almost Famous for any and all piercing and tattoo needs!

Emily,a new asset to the studio has brought a ton of talent to their shop I personally think she does great work and have the ink to show it... I just came from almost famous just got another great tattoo from Emily strickland.shes the bomb.

I went in yesterday for a septum piercing and the guy who pierced it did it crooked the first time. I had to go back in and he repierced it. He was rude and didn't talk me through anything that was happening. Avoid the guy with a beard who works at liberty ford.

We had to wait a bit for the piercer to come in but it was well worth the wait! Joe was so nice and incredibly gentle while piercing (septum). He went over the piercing and healing process with us and was just incredibly nice.

My sister and I went there yesterday, I got the other side of my nostril done and my sister got her septum. Their shop has a capacity limit so we had to wait outside but weren't waiting very long. The guy that did our intake, I think his name was James, was very nice. We both got pierced by Missy, and I swear I wish I could just take her home with meeeeee. She made us both feel so comfortable, made us laugh, and did an AMAZING job with both of our piercings. I already have a few and still she was very thorough with educating me and giving me after care instructions. We are from North Conway, NH and we went to that shop specifically because of the online reviews about Missy. She definitely did not disappoint. I will 100% be going there for all of my future piercings. Thank you sm Missy <3

Great experience taking my daughter here to get her ears pierced. Missy really took her time with her and made sure that she was comfortable, and was so patient and explained everything... I was really impressed. I've been telling everyone since - "don't take your kids to the mall to get their ears pierced. Go to Almost Famous. Better service, cleaner instruments, better quality jewelry, and less than HALF the cost of piercing at Claire's."
